In my opinion, good is balancing technicality of the music, emotional content, stage presence, origionality, and honesty, but the musical talent is incredibly important because music's come a long way in that respect. Mainly, i look for the perfect balance of heart and mind, too much of one and it's lacking. Nothings the perfect balance of course.

Omg he's so good at guitar! Total musical skill. He's so unique and talented, it makes him sweet how he playes those amazing jazz chords! And his lyrics are so intelligent! i love it. And how he sings and palys off the beat of the music. That's genius right there. And what he's gone through totally changes how good his music is. For shure. genius, he changed my life.

"Good" depends on how it makes you feel. I found it interesting that in his isolated way -- he played a tune before soundcheck ended. The tune is interesting compositiopnally -- simple yet moving. Of course his musicianship/singing is questionable but as a whole -- this performance says alot. As a filmmaker - I thought how the songs unfolded was interesting and I tried to enhance that by slowly zooming in with his musical phrasing. -- especially if you take into consideration his history.
