In the video it says Teleport and the app that controls computers is called iTeleport. There's a difference between bane and icon. Can some people think before they accuse, please?

Reasons I think it's real:

1: Portal doesn't have those buttons on the side

2: There is no Portal Gun V_model

3: There is no shot or portal creation animation

4: Models are A LOT less detailed than the real Portal

5: The cube on the lift is in the wrong spot (which is why it falls off)

I see that the App "Teleport" is used, and that IS an App for remotely controlling your computer, but there isn't an interface in Portal normally. Those two Portal buttons on the sides shouldn't be there, and how could someone use iPod Touch controls on a computer screen (That's what Teleport does, right?)? Well it may look like Portal from the PC but this is preety much Portal ripped and

reassembled in a different engine. In this case it is a rip from the source engine and

reassembled in iUnity and then compiled into iPhone native.

This may sound simple but I assure you it is not.

I believe unity 3d was used for this. Its a costly dev kit. Especially if you're planning on selling games. It's the only engine i can think of for the iphone that can yield these results ;)

I'm afraid not, this port was done by a third party and not valve themselves. It's simply a demo showcasing the iPhone's ability to run more advanced games.

The developer informed me that the current build was designed for the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 2nd generation and will later be optimized to run on previous generation iPhones and iPod touch. Probably won't see this game anytime soon, it's not an official port from Valve.

the only difference betwen a iTouch 2'nd gen and a standard iphone / iphone 3G is that the cpu on the iTouch runs 33% faster. so if it works and is enjoyable on the touch, it'll probably be atleast 75% as good on the iphone.
