@jedediahbc You need either a high-pressure tank (such as SCUBA) that is filled at a shop. Or, you need a 3-4 stage high-pressure hand pump ($200-300). I have a tank - carbon fiber - like the ones firefighters use.

I have an FWB124 but I have been itching to get a PCP airgun and I think a Marauder rifle or pistol might be it.
Seriously I really wish you would say what head diameter these pellets are that you test,my experiance with the 22 marauder is they (I have two) will not shoot any pellet less than 5.54mm dia,the interior demensions are so large anything less than 5.54 will not engrave they fall thrue.The marauder 22 cal barrels are closer to a 22 rimfire. The pistol barrels must be the same way. The plating on the Beeman pellets must add to the dia.giving better accuracy.Great review!Thanks!
for a cheap pellet the crossmens did pretty good i do alot of shooting and dont have the money to buy expensive pellets every time i get low on them and the crossmen premier hollow points work the best for me also i just use a cheap daisy powerline 880s so im not going to be setting any record shots but for a 45dollar gun i say its worth getting i could hit aspirin tablets from just under 20 yards away with it consistently i did add some weight to the front of it though and that helped it a lot
Hey i recently bought a Gamo Whisper and im looking for a decent mil-dot scope without breaking the bank. Also, im nervous about buying a scope because of the recoil of my rifle. Great video Ted. I remember having a hard time finding a pellet that my Prod really liked. In the end it shot Crosman Premier (boxed) the best. I never tried the coated pellets but after watching this I am definitely going to give them a try. Thanks.
Those crosman are (177 pellet) nose =.177 and tail=.183, which makes them tight on my single pump (.75") RWS @ 1000fps at 30yds. I've tried other cheap ones and groups are wild! Be lookin for those beemans That FX looks sweeeeet!
I'm lucky to have not only starlings but nasty crows- the RWS kills in one shot 30yds.
@jetpowered1 It needed a 4-dot holdover (at 12x magnification) using the Beeman Kodiak 21.1gr. It only needed a 2.5 dot holdover for the 14.3gr FTS pellets.

Actually ted us poor brits would have to have that gun at 6ft lb as the stock is removable and so it is classed as a pistol ...i need to move to americaland :-)
I have been thinking of buying this airpistol. The idea is that I could take it in my back pack with me for walks in the forest with out any one suspecting any thing so that I could shoot small game when ever I need to. At the same time I could use it at home to shoot out the window at doves, crows and sparrows. I figure it would be strong enough for that as well. The same goes when going to vacation I could neatly pack it in my bag and move it around with out any one suspecting any thing.
Nice video, sorry I've said this on a different video of your, which I should have posted on this one instead but I've bought a Ruger Mark 1 air pellet pistol, which I didn't like due to the large hand grip and the long trigger pull, on top of a heavy trigger pull, which to me is way more then a 357 revolver. I forgot to see if it had a trigger adjustment , but then I would still be left with the larger hand grip.

@penfold357007 I add metric as much as possible. If I say both standard and metric all the time, it starts to sound really repetitive. Trust me on this - I have to listen to myself edit these things. :) But, like I said, I try to add metric units to the graphs and text. I know we are behind the rest of the world. I know that metric is a simpler and more sensible system. But, I learned on "standard" - so that is what my brain is wired to use. :)

@biodot88 Good call. I forgot to add that info....CenterPoint 3-12X44 Game TAG Rifle Scope, Illuminated TAG Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube. The truth is that the scope is actually much better than the scopecam showed. The issue with fixed objective scopes is that you can not focus them to compensate for the camera's focus. You really need an AO scope to get a consistently good image though a scopecam.
I have a Benjamin Marauder (about 2 weeks old) and I'm having problems getting a good grouping. I'm on the verge of sending it back for a replacement, but after seeing this video, I'm going to try some copper pellets first and pray.
What's the chance that you could do a video on your Marauder shooting different types of pellets. I searched your previous videos, but didn't see one.
nice review now you dont have to test all those pellets to find the best one ! but it looks like the accuracy was limited by the scope more than the gun itself
i recently got a browning 800 magnum pistol in .177, supposed to kick out pellets at about 700 fps, have to sight it in, the first few shots did spook birds on a wire maybe 30 yards away, none dropped...

Great review. I recently bought a Marauder .25 and a Hawke SideWinder 30 tac. (Nice combo by the way) Maybe this would be a good spare gun for the long hunting trips.
@kazzzdafke Absolutely - this was THE most challenging gun to hold steady on the bench. This thing is meant to be carried and shot offhand. It weighs next to noting, and has a very thin profile - the exact opposite of what you would want in an FT rifle. The Daystate MK4 (coming soon) is the polar opposite of this gun. :)

@ToLightToFight My CF tank is a retired fireman tank. I got it at auction for $150. A hydro cost me $10. And the fill apparatus and gauge is from Joe Brancato (google Joe's Tanks).
I think this pistol should be available in .177,I'll buy it for sure in this calliber.Velocity in .177 will be faster that will be better for accuracy,even for 70-80 yds/my opinion ofcourse/,Regards!
I think the predators were thinking, "You call me a bad pellet, well let me show you my grouping." I think it came back to bite, also if you hit live game with that, it will cause major devastation.
Great shooting with what you had to work with as far as the scope....I am glad to see that the polymags did so well!...I know they have good knock down ability...they work great on tree rats!..but maybe not quite as accurate in my RWS 34 as the RWS pointed or super HP's pellets...I will say this again...You have the best Air Gun channel on YouTube!...Thanks again for the vid and waiting for the .25
@MrJimlowe Just install the addon "download helper" for Firefox and your browser will record his video and you can put it on a cd if you wish. It is very easy. Try it!
your results about the same as mine... however the cheap cps do very well if you stay under 25 yds. mine like cudas and i wonder if going with a different head size cuda (ie 5.51 .53 .54 .55 etc..) would improve things. good vid

@biodot88 Good call. I forgot to add that info....CenterPoint 3-12X44 Game TAG Rifle Scope, Illuminated TAG Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube. The truth is that the scope is actually much better than the scopecam showed. The issue with fixed objective scopes is that you can not focus them to compensate for the camera's focus. You really need an AO scope to get a consistently good image though a scopecam.

I have a Benjamin Marauder (about 2 weeks old) and I'm having problems getting a good grouping. I'm on the verge of sending it back for a replacement, but after seeing this video, I'm going to try some copper pellets first and pray.
What's the chance that you could do a video on your Marauder shooting different types of pellets. I searched your previous videos, but didn't see one.

so, im going to watch it again when i have more time,
but the accuracy isnt that great out to 50 yards, but then again not bad,
the small air resovoir makes for a small amount of shots between fills,
so it woudl be a great little gun to take out rabbiting up to 50 yards, but crap for FT?

i recently got a browning 800 magnum pistol in .177, supposed to kick out pellets at about 700 fps, have to sight it in, the first few shots did spook birds on a wire maybe 30 yards away, none dropped...

Great review. I recently bought a Marauder .25 and a Hawke SideWinder 30 tac. (Nice combo by the way) Maybe this would be a good spare gun for the long hunting trips.

@kazzzdafke Absolutely - this was THE most challenging gun to hold steady on the bench. This thing is meant to be carried and shot offhand. It weighs next to noting, and has a very thin profile - the exact opposite of what you would want in an FT rifle. The Daystate MK4 (coming soon) is the polar opposite of this gun. :)

@ToLightToFight My CF tank is a retired fireman tank. I got it at auction for $150. A hydro cost me $10. And the fill apparatus and gauge is from Joe Brancato (google Joe's Tanks).

I think the predators were thinking, "You call me a bad pellet, well let me show you my grouping." I think it came back to bite, also if you hit live game with that, it will cause major devastation.

Great shooting with what you had to work with as far as the scope....I am glad to see that the polymags did so well!...I know they have good knock down ability...they work great on tree rats!..but maybe not quite as accurate in my RWS 34 as the RWS pointed or super HP's pellets...I will say this again...You have the best Air Gun channel on YouTube!...Thanks again for the vid and waiting for the .25

Great review. I was really surprised at the polymags accuracy, evan though I have never used them I have been skeptical of theeir performance.
Hope you will do some springer video's sometime. Like a HW95 are something similar.
Any chance of you bundelling your video's on a DVD and selling them? I have know way of recording them.

your results about the same as mine... however the cheap cps do very well if you stay under 25 yds. mine like cudas and i wonder if going with a different head size cuda (ie 5.51 .53 .54 .55 etc..) would improve things. good vid

nice review again there ted some surprises on the way the pellets behaved, we cant have a pistol above 6ftlbs in the uk not even on a firearms certificate..which is a shame would love to go ratting at that power with a pistol :):) keep em comeing bud..
