the idea of automatically having access to information if they are attending court proceedings is good however there are many people that may not be able to be in court (ex: minor child, work, distance), so you are suggesting that be the only way victims can get access, that is so wrong. Also I think that Victims should be able to participate openly with guidelines in healing circles and in the Parole hearing discussions more, not just put in a Victims Impact Statement.
