Nice tC! I just ordered the TRD intake and sport exhaust for my 2010 tC. The sound isn't ricey and gives it a very nice low rumble.

like most mods, it doesnt seem to have that much of a noticeable difference when you ADD it.  but if you swap back to stock parts, you definately feel a loss of power. ...if that makes any sense. lol. anyway, i like it but its a pain to change or clean the filter since its so hard to get to. i would probably go with a short ram instead.

its called the "TRD" exhaust, and has a TRD logo on it, but i believe if is actually made by Borla and just badged as a TRD. you can get them decently cheap through TRDSparks' online store.

you got ripped off should have gone with the hks exhaust. and athe aem intake. you would have noticed more of a horsepower and torque gain, plus common you need a turbo for that thing :-)

"TRD" doesnt actually make the products, the intake is actually a rebadged AEM, and the exhaust is  rebadged Borla. I dont particularly like HKS anyway, most of their stuff sounds really dry and raspy.

White is nice, my TC is white, and I'm going for the convential oldschool JDM look with white, (white car, gold wheels, carbon fiber hood and trunk etc.), but if I was going to "wow" someone, I would have orange or a wild color paint just cause noone uses these colors much.

I checked the scion website and the TRD exhaust cost $525 and the TRD cold air intake cost $440. Im looking to buy the 08 tC model also, and most likely i'll be adding these to it. Are you gona get these for ur tC?

Ofcourse I made other changes like put on 17 inch veilside rims. My car comes with 190 hp, I really don't think it's necessary for more hp while driving in traffic.
