  • This should be encouraged, in fact it should be compulsary!!

  • I sometimes pretend when I walk around town that the local ladies are fred titmus and I get all excited. I have been arrested several times but I only go there for the crack.

  • LEGENDARY !!

  • Had a very similar experience when I bumped into Mike Pejic in Leek last sunday. Right outside my home......Too busy thinking "fucking 'ell" to even say a proper hello. Sorry Mike Pejic.

  • Tyuu

  • Liz Taylor arrived at the pearly gates

Drumming her fingers, "Bugger here comes a wait"

When her violet eyes were suddenly led

To the guy in the queue beside her and she said:.. "

  • RIP Fred Titmus. Still played in 1982 thanks to an inspired move by Mike Brearley.

  • Fred Titmus England cricket great, farewell.

  • Just played this as a tribute as Fred Titmus passed away today

  • Was just listening to this the other day. T'rah Fred. R.I.P.

  • Over 25 years old now this song - Fred would have only been early 50s when this song came out. A bone fide classic nonetheless. I hope he got a share of the royalties?

  • When they reformed in 1990 they played the tent at the Reading Festival as their first gig. This was the first song they played. The place went FUCKING mental. I never knew there were so many HMHB fans. I didn't even know what the band looked like before!

  • @barryshostakovitch - i was at that reading festival - the tent was totally fucking rammed and was about 30 deep the whole way 'round outside as well - second best set of the weekend (after the fall) :)

  • I was there! I was there! I was there!!!!!! Wow, barry - what a gig that was! I remember collapsing in a heap outside the tent to catch my breath... I saw my mate in the same condition then we piled back in again. I seem to remember Harry Hill and Frank Sidebottom were brilliant in the comedy tent.
