it depents on what kind of car you have or bike funky kong with flame runner is very good and toad with phantom or standard kart or other combinations

I only play with Wii remote so I only know the Wii remote way to do tricks in the air:shake Wii remote as soon as you lift into the air(example:your riding full speed heading towards a ramp,you go up the ramp and as soon as your kart/bike leaves the ramp shake the Wii remote)
