Ghost Tutorial in Sony Vegas

Hello there and many thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial :D

It seemed simple enough but I am having a problem. My video on the 2nd track is getting it's opacity changed as well. How do I change the opacity n the top track *only* ?

no windows movie maker have no effects like sony vegas even my cousin hated movie maker he like sony vegas better
