  • Nice Playing Man! Real Blues!

  • Great style - he's a ringer for a younger Jimmy Vaughan!!

  • Really great!!!

  • Very nice playing my friend. Tone-Taste-hands. :)

  • Beautiful!!!

    Grandma mary

  • nice soud

  • beautiful playing.

  • What model Stratocaster is? Nice piece though!

  • This guy's good...

  • More than a tip of the hat to Jimmie - he really looks like him too! Awesome!

  • cool place to play......like a cave ......good licks too .

  • Beautiful!!!

    Grandma mary

  • Beautiful Interpretation of Ronnie Earl Licks...sweet

  • Stone cold blues right there! Beautiful tone, killer chops, rock solid rhythm section—all with attitude to spare! BRAVO!

  • Uh-huh ..... yeah!!! The real thing.

    5 stars

  • Can't believe the pretentious crap that some people come out with when making comments - wannabe's...

Love the vibe of this guys playing - true blue feel, simple as that!

  • Man, I just love this guy's playing. I don't care if he sounds like this guy or that guy or whatever. He's telling a story here, and a damn good one at that. Check out some of the other vids with Kai. He plays some just absolutely killer jump blues, which IMHO is difficult in itself to get the swing feel. Love ya Kai!

  • Man your realy playing the blues. Take it from an ol timer like myself. Keep of the good work!!!!!1

  • love the guitar work, don't forget the two guys at the back keeping that rock steady beat. You gotta know your shit to get that groove down and keep it there.

  • ...theres always someone better, enjoy this guys contibution to what he likes you give you ......

    Very NICE!

Peace...starts with each one of us

  • awesome clip!! nice to have found ya..

  • meant to say as well, supreme rhythm section Kai has there :-)

  • dude, it's not about being "better"!!! It's about everyone having their own style for god's sake! Anyway, agree with Alvinorey and can't understand some others. this is *nothing* like SRV or even a bit like jimmie vaughan. personally, i'd go with 80% ronnie earl and 20% anson funderburgh. Kai's a player i have a lot of respect for but a small piece of me wishes he'd be even a tiny bit original sometimes - i'm sure he has it in him - he's just obviously very heavily influenced by others!

  • amen!

  • Nothing to do with that Gary Moore stuff !! more like Ronnie Earl in his better days.

  • Good conk. Bluesy guitar yes indeed.....

  • Well...It really reminds me an old performance at Stubb's BBQ by Stevie Ray Vaughan where Stevie plays BB King tune "You've don't lost ur good thing now"...most of the licks are very very close...anyway really BB king and jimmie vaughan style

  • Sooooo...Jimmy Vaughan.

    Sweet!

  • ((( Awesome )))

    thank you so very much.

    From Upper Michigan

  • awesome!

  • Kai is the shit

  • ps best bluesplayer in europe

  • Just can't stop listening to this. Kai you keep on talking bro, we hear ya.

  • its is a bit gary more

  • haha u look like jimmie.

i like your style. a bit of a mix between stevie and jimmie. its great.

  • ohh, sorry , i was wrong its not JImmy Vaughan

  • this is Jimy Vaughan is nt it?

  • ok so kai, whats up? is this a hobby or are you planning on throwing some stuff out? if u have already scuse me...but id like to heare more. so let a brotha know where he can cop some of your stuff. thanks

  • Just check out the CD release of Memo Gonzales and The Bluescasters Kaï is taking an important part in the band !

  • hey man, nice style. love the tone and the breaks very very sweet. u have listened to some of my favs for sure. keep rolling bro

  • Smoooooooooooooth!!! This music makes my neck hair point to the roof!

  • Awesome man, nice tone. Cool hair!

Some cool Jazz in there too!

I have just favourtized this baby!!!

  • Kai Strrrrrrrrrrrrrauss! :D Nice One!

  • Be sure to check the latest San Ho Zay by The bluescasters in 2007 on my profile

  • holy shit u look like jimmie vaughn, awesome playin though man - very tasteful!

  • Uncannily Earl-esque! Even looks like a young Ronnie from a distance. Nice playing!

  • Stinging!!!!!

  • Slow hand keep on bluesin'... 5 stars, favourites..

  • excellent!!!

  • I can Dig it ma-man especially the upright bass!

  • It's regular electric bass, but the he is playing it upright that makes it look like he's playing double bass (or upright as you say)

  • some really slick riffs there, love how you throw in some echoes of old T bone in there (or so I heard, I might be wrong) well done bro.

  • Excellent. The technique and maturity of Anson Funderburg with excellent vocabulary and feel. Doesn't get all worked into a lemon sucking lather in the upper register like RE.

  • wow nice job

  • Il est bon ce mec,on ne s'en lasse pas!

  • Mmmmmmmmmm,lovely!

  • LOVELY PLAYIN.

  • Yeah good playing, he kept my attention on his playing for the entire clip. That means that while he has the feel of some other players(BB, Jimmy Vaughan, etc) that was him talking through his guitar.

  • great job with the jimmie style bro. sounds like BB and Jimmie

  • it thought it was Jimmie when i first started it..lol..great stuff no matter who it is

  • These guys are very good and guitar player has great licks, feel and gets the whole "less is more" thing. The only thing is there's not a lot of originality. I'm really hearing Ronnie and Jimmie, who are dynamite, but would like to hear his individual style more.

  • Thanks for him Slackjawyokel, he really deserve to be more well known he's a talented player !

  • Very nice!

  • Yeahhh! Very nice playin'! I really love it!!!!

  • Thanks for the comment ,you can also check their latest release on their website http://www.memogonzales.com Thoses guys really deserve recognition I guess !

  • Yes Borny that's what I told him after the gig but he is very humble, for sure he knows the real stuff and play with a lot of feeling. Real great band !

  • This guitarist is great! He says something in his playing, it isn't just some licks going on. Ronnie and Jimmie are some of my favourites too and he really catches alot of they're style.
