  • Do we REALLY want to be competitive as a nation? NCLB is forcing students up who are not ready and creates classrooms where students who are on grade level are ignored. Why don't we support the ones at the top instead of letting them STAGNATE while we focus ALL our attention on the bottom? My son comes home expressing physical pain from extreme boredom because in precalc they are covering jr high ideas to reach the bottom. Our nation cares more about PC than about genuine excellence.
