There was glitchers so they deside to fuck the game play to get rid of the the glitchs. intemitly runeing the the way the game was played.

I've played the 1st game and compared to the first one, where you were kinda just told to go to a place to kill stuff with no backround info, the second game's story was SO much better, you knew what you had to do and weren't confused during the game like i was during the first one. I've played all the Halos, all the Call Of Dutys, all the Gears, all the Medal of Honours, all the Tom Clancy games..........plus every other FPS thats been released, as its easily my most favoured genre of game....however i have to say, despite all this exposure to 2nd and 3rd generation shooters, the best FPS i have ever played, still is (and probly will forever remain as) the original Red Faction.

The campaign is extremely fun and features some stunning graphics. The multiplayer is a fucking joke, nothing but Mexicans chainsawing and glitching. The ranking system is retarded. It's extremely hard to get above the second ranking and stay there without constantly cheating by quitting matches when your team's about to lose. I sold it after a few months after getting so fed up with the multiplayer bullshit, but now that I'm watching this guy play the campaign I'm regretting selling it back.

I'm affraid I'll have to disagree with you on this one, I find Gears to repetetive, in fact I havn't even purchased GoW2, since I found GoW1 so insanly boring. I have how ever played GoW2 round someone elses house, and well after 5 minuets I just ended up leaving. Only on the two reasons, one of which you mentioned, getting stuck on the same single path, and my personal reason, it's a game about idiotic people who only know how to smash things, or smash agianst things...
