My great grandmother suffers from dimentia. My grandfather hired me to be her caretaker two months ago. In just this short amount of time, I've seen a change in her. It's amazing how just giving the elderly some company can make a difference in their mental state.

Kent is an inspiration to me. Not only did he dance for his grandmother, but he danced for her condition and the condition many other elderly people deal with today. He danced to remember.

wow... i can tootaly relate to him.. my grandmother had alzheimers when I was just 4, and forgot how to speak when i was 13... she became suddenly ill, and slipped into a coma and passed away... god bless him... its hard adjusting.

i respect the fact that he did a solo about his grandma but seriously people he's not some farm boy. the show is making it seem like this sob story that he's a small town boy living the dream. he said at his audition he's only been to columbus yet he's was on tour with showstoppers and has been to plenty of other cities and traveled. i competed against him not too long ago at showstoppers.

You can be from a small town and still make it in the dance world, he was from a small town and worked hard and got to tour with showstoppers and has now made it to the show. And it is true that they exaggerate things on that show.

@porterhouse1974 actually , i dance with him and he is not what so ever a farm boy. the producers are just making him look like one to get something different. he does live in the country, he just doesn't farm or anything like that. and people kind of get that impression considering its ohio. home of cornfields and what not. but he doesn't have cows or pigs, and have i told you he isn't a farm boy? lol! hope this helped you out!

My grandma just got transfered to the demetia ward on Thursday because her Altimers has recently gotten so bad that she can't remember who we are, who she is, and even small things we take for granted like remembering which mucles to use to get out of bed. It's a hard time for our family and I thank you so much for posting this video. It made me cry, it's so beautiful. We just need to stay strong and be there for our family as much as we can.
