Thanks for uploading. Some human themes gently explored here which in comparison to contemporary BBC output would make this an exceptional piece. In the context of the consistently superlative PFT series though, 2 out of 5.

This was a great play and wonderfully acted and directed. An example when television and the BBC was worth something instead of all the sex and violence that's on right now. This was a story of lost dreams, a power struggle between a manager and a wife and the challenge and the discovery of finding out what's important in life. There's your defence, StonefieldJim4

I'd like to see a robust defence of it. To my mind, it's a truly execrable play.

No offence, 'PlayNedoflanderToday' - I mean, thanks for uploading it, but thank heavens Saville went on to direct better things (not least, the excellent 'Fellow Traveller', which, when I can transfer it to DVD, I might upload here).
