  • man that is horrible i am glad you say she is much better.!!!1

  • I am 34 yrs old and suffer from cellulitis of the leg. Mine started out as blisters and very quickly led to 105 degree temperature, chills and fatigue. I hate it. I was in the hospital for 10 days under IV medication with another 10 days of IV meds as outpatient. Mine began with a simple scratch. Anyone can get this and it is EXTREMELY painful.

  • I have cellulitis and staph in the same knee cause of wrestling lol

  • T1psy if you ever got close to a person suffering cellulitis you wouldn't be judging. It's such a horrible infection and commonly seen in hospital wards. Show some compassion for this poor lady.

  • @c3147954

I agree with you.The kind of pain one goes thru when the doctors and the nurses are dressing the wound is ,to say the least. trmendous

  • wish that bitch would shut up

  • That's not the case here. The nurses also do a great job, but owing to the severity of the wound and the depth too, the presence of a Qualified Doctor was imperative.

In any case, the job that a Nurse does is tremendous.Your profession is a Gift from the Almighty!!!!

  • i have been nursing 37 years and we always did the dressing changes after the pain was controlled first.poor soul.

  • Ouch...hope shes doing well now.

  • @brandonGCHACHU

    Yeah,she's recovered now fully....

  • @venture1123 Is she able to walk on it now? How long did it took her to recover?

  • O shit !! wtf is with her leg???O_O

  • I could never be a nurse. I'm so nervous just watching this.

  • @zuniga6412 It really is an difficult profession and frankly speaking, all the credit goes to the doctors instead of the nurses!!!Thanks for watching...

  • @venture1123 Your right. The nurses do all thy dirty work and then some. They don't get paid enough and some doctors don't appreciate nurses like they should.

  • @venture1123 maybe where you are nurses dont do much but in the U.S. all of this would have been by the nurse not the doctor. I am a nurse and dress wounds like this all of the time.

  • stfu take the pain

  • @mraxfdisco I would probably be embarrassed if this was a man lol.

  • I am glad you put up this video, people need to become aware of this disease, because it is very commong, and people do die from this.

  • @sita669

True,People need to be educated on this.

    Thanks for watching....

  • @venture1123

this video reminds me of dressing my mothers ankle which she wound up loosing her leg over cause we just couldnt get the infection out.

she is now in a nursing home and is doin great and its alot considering we lost our dad not even a year ago due to diabetes and a heart attache.

TY for uploading everyone should be aware of this sort of thing.

  • i had this back in 2007. she's not exaggerating....the pain is pretty damn intense.

  • why do ppl put this on youtube exacly o.O

  • The video has been put up for people to get to know what cellulitis is and what is the pain one goes thru'.Also, I have mentioned that the hospital in which she had been put up does great work !!Regards & thanks

  • If there were any grace from Almighty she wouldn't have this to begin with

  • I am fighting a cellulitis in my lower left leg now but it is nothing like this poor woman's! I am shocked that they did not debred the area before wrapping it!!! Debredment, pressure dressings and steroid cream with weekly wound dressing changes and this heals more rapidly! God bless her!

  • @kamkerrym Look at the description a 3rd world nation

  • Godd;; :(

  • Oh dear god, I had cellulitis with an abscess underneath but Jesus, mine wasn't this bad!

  • oh ouch i send my best wishes out to her.

  • How did this happend?

  • @RibberDibber11 Inflamation of the skin layers. Dozens of causes for this (surgery gone wrong, burns, blisters and so on) and if your immune system is down, you got something to scare your grandchildren.

    If you survive.

  • God bless this poor woman i feel deeply for her,,im glad she is ok now WOW

  • Don't they need to fully wash with disinfecting soap the whole leg and then apply all the needed medications to treat it? I mean, its like a fungus, clean with antibacterial soap, rinse with fresh water and then apply the treatment... The smell???

  • Holy god that wound is so deep

  • must really hurt..how do u get this infection?

  • She Is Alright Now

  • i had it on my arm and i had to have like6 sugries to get rid of plus a major arm sugery at the end trust me its the most painfulest thing you could ever have and im still having pain from the sugery i was in the hospital for two months plus i had it for 8 months and needed a pick line dont ever wish for it cause its the worst

  • i know it hurts but she was too much drama she should take care of herself when younger speaking of dibetes f course

  • OMFG You poor woman. DEMAND DRUGS . ASAP. STAT

  • give her some morphine for gods sake!!

  • WHAT THE FU CK I KNOW IT !!!

    OMFG

  • what is the white inside :O

  • OMG!!! I had to have a surgical incision on my abdomen packed since it wouldnt heal. The taking out of the packing was the worst pain I ever had, and the entire neighborhood could hear me scream when my home nurse changed it. They came running over to the house, as they thought I had fallen. I wouldnt wish this pain on anyone. Hope you are feeling better now.

  • What makes it hurt?

  • @JumperSC The infection itself is rather painful and removing the dressings is the Big Bonus.

  • @KrautGoesWild ewwwww

  • @JumperSC The inflamation make it hurt A LOT

  • @JumperSC What makes it hurt? Having the infection it self is painful. What's really bad is having to treat it.

  • goddammit SHUT THE HELL UP

  • im gunna pour lemon juice on it

  • oh shit !! º_º

  • @embersnow oh i feel sorry 4 ur mom...but i hope u better now,,i will pray 4 ur mom n ur health... =)

  • She is in obvious pain, couldn't they give her a sedative?

  • @FolkloreLover

Sedatives aren't safe, they should only be used in extreme necessity. Painkillers don't work on infections, there's too much blood. Its ust one of those horrible, horrible things.

  • oh my god this is awful.

  • Is she doing better? That looks very painful

  • Bull shit it was not god it was the staff at the hospital and science. I am glad your mother in-law is well.

  • Lord have mercy and heal her leg...

  • Holy crap..... Did she loose her foot or something later on ? That looks horrible....

  • I feel so bad for her. I know I would be screaming louder than that and my cellulitis is not yet broken skin. God bless you.

  • does it smell???

  • In December 2007, I had cellulitis from Streptococcus Pyogenes, aka type A strep. I didn't have to have any incisions to debride skin or to relieve compartment syndrome. I did have complete renal failure, atrial fibrillation, and a resting heartbeat of 168. Fortunately, I got morphine by IV every 4 hours. I ended up missing 7 weeks of work and had to wear a compression hose for several months to compensate for the damaged blood vessels. I was very lucky.

  • She is lucky she was able to keep her limb. That looks awful, but at least it is not black.

  • Ugh that looks horrible. How do you get cellulitis???

  • @steemguitardude Cellulitis is any infection that causes widespread cell irritation via a bacterial route. S. pyogenese, commonly known as type A strep is the same bacteria that you get a sore throat from. It sometimes just decides to set up shop somewhere, often distally and in areas of reduced circulation. Early treatment is important. It can cause severe heart damage, and sometimes results in amputation.

  • eep

  • Happy to hear she's recovering!!

  • JESUS CHRIST!!! THATS SOME HORRIBLE SHIT!

  • thats one bad infection

  • i told you not to shave with that rusty blade

  • @Atrofia2 you're an asshole... such a cruel comment...

  • Bless her heart!

  • let me just say this is nothing compared to what my aunt is going through right now. She weighed 256lbs when she went into the hospital in march and now she weighs 203. She has it on her abdomen. The weight loss if from all the dead tissue they have cut of her. The screaming she is doing is what my aunt sounds like when they change her dressing. It makes you cry too! :(...

  • OMG!! i think i most puke..

  • My GOD! That....looks so painful..it is painfull..I have a bobo on my arm..it when i watch this video..it makes my bobo throb in pain Ouch

  • @DuboisMandy221 where you from?

  • omg! i cant believe this ! its like hollywood special effects for a horror film. amazed that they can cure it! sounds horrific!

  • Hi,

I understand this disease well too as I had similiar cuts in the upper thigh. However, it never got this bad due to a new system of VACUM with foam insert in the wounds and negative (sucking air pump) pressure on the wound that cleaned out the wound and forced healing. Much less painfull too. Send us an up date on what happen to your mother in law after this. Look for my video 'Cellulitis is a bad thing'.

  • @padrehimalaya oh man i just saw your video how are you?!

  • @padrehimalaya: You´re talking about the VAC (vacuum-assisted closure) system, right?

They used that on me, too, but for another thing like cellulitis.

  • @padrehimalaya mexico, welcome to obama care

  • Im currently on mc i have been hospitalised for 51/2 days my leg now healing but when i was hospitalize it was exactly the same as ur video

my infection is on the left leg same position

  • this is awseome

    and sexy too

  • oh my god! is your mother in law ok????? that looks terrible!!!

  • omfg. how do people get this?

  • i got mine from a insect bite was a tiny nat i think can also get it from blisters ,cuts or anything that brakes the skin even a tattoo and mostly affects the legs and face , started off as a small red heat patch then my leg just blew up like a balloon was like a tree trunk no joke , and was hospitalised with high boosts of antibiotics injected like 6 times aday was horrible if left untreated would have lost my leg so was lucky

  • Dam that look's like it would hurt so much i have slight cellulitis but dam those gash's lok gruesome.

    Hope your mother-in-law get's better.

  • what is the white things?

  • I had the same thing on my left leg but it was on my calf. I was in the hospital for 2 months. I tell u, every time they changed the dressing, it was extremely painful. That was 2 years ago. Now I get them like once every 2-3 months. I dont know why. Im just prone to them. We definitely need more advancements in the medical field.

  • I have been battling cellulitis for 2 months now all the way around my lower leg to my foot and it has been extremely painful, but after I saw your mother-n-law I see that I have a lot to be thankful for.

I was hospitalized for 7days IV antibotics

    still taking antibotics..

My heart goes out to her.

Please post the extent of your Mother n Law's recovery..
