@microvault58 the games are awesome, the movies not so much, the movies are only for those who haven't played the games and are fans of marysue fictional characters.
all resident evil films are total crap and have no depth and are unimportant to the actual genre of res. which is a total shame. i watched every one and all were a dissapoitment for me, if others enjoy it, then it might still be worth getting, but not my style of a res film. i would of started different. who the fuck is mila playing xD

@MrDude2314 after watching the movie for a second time with a friend i will say it was a little bit better but this movie is just cliche and boring. there's nothing new in the movie at all.
the only things i can give it credit are:
It's visuals and the style it has, its my type and i really like it.
the wesker fight scene while its short and kinda disappointing for what it is its pretty cool to watch in the theaters.

The 3d in my theater is lame the only thing it does is give you a great depth perception view and the only things that pop out are the words. I know it can be better with better projectors since ive seen real 3d at disney world so they needa make my extra $2 i pay for 3d movies worth it lol

yes it is... when its done like most movies today, that just do 3D in post production. Afterlife was filmed in 3D just like Avatar. So it should be interesting, especially in IMAX 3D.

Okay... people... the films.. are different from the games.. once you are all able to wrap your heads around THAT concept (:O) you need to realize that.. if the films weren't successful... they wouldn't keep making them, thye wouldn't keep getting HUGE budgets for them, and they wouldn't be promoting them like crazy... the films are good, where is your justification for them being bad? all i ever read is.. theyre crap.. why are they crap? yall give no reason!

Nemesis (my fav monster in the entire RE franchise who is nearly unstoppable) loses... in a boxing match to Alice when it was Jill who actually fucking shot him dead after blowing the shit out of him with a rail cannon since he couldn't be killed any other way.. Alice beats him and then he dies from a helicopter falling on him... btw im not talking about the movies in general, just that 1 scene... lol

People share in that sentiment and thats why it's up there. I tried to see if she had a conscience and plead to it. Because she's attacked me before this spot for having an opinion on the quality of cinema ( relevent ) so I established what was more important than a movie - the value of life and she could give two craps. yes it is... when its done like most movies today, that just do 3D in post production. Afterlife was filmed in 3D just like Avatar. So it should be interesting, especially in IMAX 3D.
