  • Good Song

  • Hello, I'm Elvis Presley... Doesn't have the same ring to it..

  • Some people say CASH and the KING I say the KING and ELVIS

  • @CommanderTipsy No way is this Elvis, it's bogus for sure

  • never realised?

  • there are cleaner versions of this on youtube if you look.

  • Elvis and Johny Cash.....they never forgot eachother, I guess. Great stuff!! Thanks to the bootleggers, we might have missed it!

  • Leave them alone!

  • I think elvis and johnny are the same person.

  • That was crap! I couldn't make out squat what he said. I like Elvis fine, but that was crap.

  • @Enkidu2 It was not crap. It was also easy to understand as well. I think Elvis did a great job,

  • Elvis oozed charisma - he was just born with "it"

  • I propose any judge politician who hits 8o must retire.cant teach old dogs trix!Ep was idiot keepin parker around2long.DoNT KNOW Y HBO FAGS DIDNT INCLUE BLUE ANGEL IN CHRONOLOGICAL.ORDER.CHEAPOS.Yo nevr sang informaly.ep copies hairstyle from orb.if orb had lived2mo days he d died on 12 08 88he d livd 19222days born dead on thursday!

  • What.. When did this happen??! I need a story..

  • @elvisine often at the beginning of his concert in the 70's elvis liked to presente him self but with an other name and made a tribute of the name he said and in this case he presented him self with the name of johnny cash,so he did a tribute of johnny cash,it was in 1970

  • R.I.P ELVIS & JOHNNY CASH we miss you

  • never realised?

  • They were both good at what they did. Elvis couldn't sing Cash's stuff nearly as good and Cash couldn't do Elvis'.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk I suspect you're right if this seems to mean what I think it means although meanings never seem to mean all they seem

  • Performance is as much an artform as any other artform.. Elvis was a performance and recording artist just like Johnny Cash. But the songwriting and music producing/arranging takes them apart..While Johnny was more of a songwriter Elvis was more of a music producer/arranger. To me they are equal yet different. R.i.p Elvis A. Presley and John R. Cash. You two will always be my 2 biggest Idols.

  • Cash had more raw power and a more masculine voice (not to say that Elvis' voice was feminin), Elvis was a better singer but still couldn't do these songs as they should be done, and I think he didn't pretend he could, he was just fooling around here. I never heard any real good versions of these two songs except by Cash himself. But it boils down to personal taste, of course.

  • @uglymoon78

To sum it up: Elvis was a performer... and Johnny an artist.

  • @Rottwhaler82 Yes, you could say that, if artist means also being a very good songwriter, which Elvis wasn't.

  • one of all time best songs sang by one of all time best talents

  • lol i like it ///// i guess i dont walk the line lol

  • O wait I just herd the 1st song my bad

  • I'm pretty sure that's folsom prison blues not I walk the line

  • @MrBudha98 Listen to it completely u cunt.

  • Hehe :)

  • He was and will always be remembered as the KING

  • 1:10 Elvis + jailbait

  • Elvis could even make a Johnny Cash song sound good. Of course it's Elvis - the emotion is flowing out unlike Cash who sounds like he's vocally constipated.

  • @darkallegiance666 so your saying that johnny sings this song without emotion?!

  • @countryzomer Yeah, sorry about that if you're a fan. I never took to Cash's delivery, even in the 1960's when I was very young, but I do realise that other people seem to get something from his way of singing that I just don't get. Something for everybody, I guess. I still don't understand what they see or hear in him. : }

  • @darkallegiance666 i understand that. i think its mostly the warm fatherly voice that touches people also

he could be the man living next to you.

in my opionin its the voice and story(behind some of his songs) combined.

thank you, for your explaining comment.

  • @darkallegiance666 Haha. That's absurd to suggest Cash has no emotion. Elvis was a better singer but Cash was a far better musician and had far more soul. You're a fucking idiot. (I like both).

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Reply of the Fucking Idiot - lol.

  • @darkallegiance666 I don't mean it in an offensive way btw lol, I'm just so used to swearing and putting "fucking " before everything. The you're an idiot was tongue in cheek, difficult to tell on YT! Fucking good, I thought. ;)

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Thanks for your reply. I hated Cash's way of singing when I was a kid in the 60's so made a few of these comments a couple of months ago. Since then I've heard some of his songs set to videos that helped me to understand that he was a hell of a lot better than I'd thought. I'm not a fan of his music yet, but I might be getting there.

  • @darkallegiance666 It's alright man. I didn't mean to cause offense, just how I talk LOL. I'm all for opinions but at the time it seemed extremely odd to suggest he had little soul or whatever. I hope you end up enjoying him ! :)

  • @Robotdrummerzzk ELVIS WAS MORE SOULFUL IN 1968 -69 THAN ANY OF CASHES COUNTRY WARBLES. AND HE WAS IN TUNE !

  • @JAARNO88 Your face needs to be in tune.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Oh gosh, did i upset you/ you fuck!

  • @JAARNO88 Seems like you were the one upset with your all capital style and "you fuck" comment

  • king elvis presley

  • There are a number of songs that both Elvis and Johnny do that make you think it's the other singing. Elvis had better volume control in his voice than Johnny Cash did. He could sing softer. Then again, Elvis could do anything... May God still bless them in the great beyond.

  • Jack-ass "Colonel" Tom Parker (the crook) never allowed Elvis to work with Johnny, or anyone else for that matter. Elvis came close to firing the jack-ass in mid 1973...if he did he might be alive today!

  • That's Johnny singing.

  • @ElvisFanMickey .......its elvis man

  • Love this!!! Thanks.

  • R.I.P Johnny Cash & Elvis

  • @flash5516 Dopskalle. Kanskje en ide og lære seg teksten først.?

  • amazing, elvis even sounds somehow like johny cash, thank you marco for the great upload.

  • the first song was Folsom Prison Blues then it goes into Walk The Line

  • They were Great Friends thanks for showcaseing this

  • brilliant..........thanks for posting

  • This is great,love it!

  • Lovely
