@ImplicitDistrust The Apple II wasn't a Unix tool. Nor was the Apple I, Apple III, Lisa or Mac. Pretty sure the original iPod wasn't either. iTunes, which originally had nothing to do with Unix was developed for the VERY non-Unix MacOS 9. What he is saying is that ALL graphical operating systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris etc) are based on the original Macintosh concept (that being, the ability to control & communicate with the machine in an accessible & visual way). Previous to the Mac, everything was a command-line interface.
