actually. that's not true at all. your eyes will get distorted when you try to concentrate on something, and your ears will become over sensitive a little bit. but you won't trip. trust me. im one of those people who can't lay down and close their eyes and go to sleep. i only sleep maybe 20-30 hours a week. i've taken all kinds of sleeping pills and drugs, and nothing works. but yea, if you stay up for 3 days your brain isn't going to disconnect from your body and float at eye level.

Sleep deprivation usually does bring some sorta "trippyness" into life. When you haven't slept for ages, your eyes tire out. You might see little balls of light all around, but usually it's sensitivity to light when tired. Shadows might seem like they move and sounds become really weird and muffled and stuff. Time speeds up and you might feel like a month passes in a couple of hours. Then as your brain tires more, you might get closer to your subconcious. These are my experiences, it differs.
