I know this is for demonstration only, but shouldn't the output shaft of the transmission be spinning faster? Or better yet, shouldn't the crankshaft be connected to the input of the transmission rather than the output? Your RPM's of the engine shouldn't increase depending on the gear selected.

@DarkAlex174 well actually its what you see in a real engine if you were to take off the top panal covering the pistons with plaxi glass (not recomended) and turned your engine ond you would see the exact same pattern.

this is actually backwards since you have the electric motor powering it from the right side and the v8 doing nothing but being turned. still really cool though

Dude, u actually say 4th on the one closest to the engine? That one is actually first small ratio:high ratio=slower engine is fast while the wheels are slow hard to explain

Cool but the hole point of a transmission is to have the engine run slow and with a lot of gears makes the rear wheels faster
