@swamiatma It would be an easy solution for us. But i imagine he and the other core members feel the pressure to find a solution for MySQL, with it being such a popular RDB.

@agm2004 I'm thinking of switching myself. The little research I did tells me the pros outweigh the cons by far.

@swamiatma I'm running MySQL for my blog, which isn't all that transaction heavy, so I'm in no rush to change it. Other apps I run in production are on Heroku which uses PostgreSQL :).
