  • U r dam good!!! :) cheers

  • What do you think of them re-releasing classic movies today with the added 3D? haha

  • @magikman3 i guess u could call me neutral on the subject. i dont really care about it. what i see from it is that they are out of ideas for new movies so they bring back the classics in 3D lol

  • You are totally wrong. You are just listening to the wrong music wanker.

  • @parallelearthnovels i hope u arent talking to me. if u are then u completely missed the point of what i said, which might make u slightly retarded. my point is that in todays general public, the music sucks. i know where to hear good music, and basically thats anywhere but the general public media. i dont listen to any of it, but my point is its basically impossible to get away from it. so shut your mouth cuz i know what im talking about and i listen to good music

  • @TheInferno515 What about Katy Perry??

  • @metamorphosis743 she's ok. she has a couple good songs

  • @TheInferno515 cool

  • At 5:30 in the video, I agree that Lady Gaga is indeed self-promoting herself as a key goal — but one could arguably add that she is indeed expressing something: she is expressing the taste for the stupid, the materialistic, the garish, the tasteless, and the prole-ishness that millions of sheeple like and follow today. (By the way, I agree that Glee sucks and promotes fuppetry within zillions of today's kids and teenagers.)

  • Well clearly you listen to what's on the radio. I don't consider that music. It's words that were paid for to be written by somebody else. So yes you are right on the fact that the music that you listen to on the radio does suck, but the beauty of the internet is that there is music that isn't mainstream. Try it out. Use Pandora it's a great way to find new music. And as far as rap goes the only stuff I listen to in that genre is Aesop rock, Immortal Technique, Tyler the creator and thats it.

  • @MrSpoonydave i do my best to not listen to the radio. but places like restaurants/stores, there isnt any way to get away. but all the stuff i listen to most stays on my ipod

  • i only listen to bruce springsteen and people like him

  • There's lots of great music that's still released, you just have to know where to look, which is unfortunate.

  • @TheUltim8Apocalypse u completely missed my message. i know where to look, what im saying is that todays music is being forced upon me and it sucks. every time u turn on the radio, go out somewhere where they have music, its playing. i know exactly where to look for good music, and its not in todays public environment. so, youre wrong

  • @TheUltim8Apocalypse No, I understand what you're saying, and my comment wasn't directly towards you, but a general statement. The fact that you have to go looking for good music and that everything that is played in the mainstream is weak and uninspired. I never even listen to the radio these days, I always play music from my iPod. It's sad really, because those who don't have the patience or passion to look for music will be forced to listen to the crap on the radio and in the media.

  • @TheUltim8Apocalypse alright, sorry i wasnt really trying to snap at u lol but i just love music. so when ppl tell me i dont know good music or tell me todays music is better, then i get mad. i just misunderstood what u said. so we are on the same page lol

  • What are your thoughts on kids bop? LOL

  • @dirtsleeper714 they still make those?

  • @TheInferno515 LOLOLOL. Unfortunately yes, it gets worse with each CD. :P

  • I agree with u soo much

  • the main reason it sucks is that artists are puppets have no originality no passion for music just brainwash 10 year olds they release music just for money.

  • @hiphopismydrug1 exactly. its easy to manipulate the kids/young teens, whatever is the "next big thing" they follow, just cuz everybody else is doing it. doesnt matter if it sucks or not

  • (continued 4) After hearing the first 8 minutes of your video I was surprised to hear that you thought the real talent displayed on glee was ridiculous.

  • @lyssiejane yeah...i refuse to watch it. they have good voices, got nothing against that. its the fact that people listen to their covers like mindless sheep instead of the original. when i hear the first few notes of a great song they have ruined, i dont get excited, i get pissed because all of the credit should be going to the original artists. and the fact that people drool over these covers as if they wrote the songs themselves makes me sick. this shit ruins music

  • (continued 3) being introduced to it in this way and that's ok, because when they are 20 years old they'll know the original tunes and the cover tunes, they'll know the lyrics, they'll know the meanings. Listen to those kids voices on Glee- it's astounding. You talk about people who aren't talented and singers who are just "ok"... don't you see that the talent of the glee singers surpasses that of lady gaga and bruno mars?

  • (continued 3) . I'm sure that if you took a look at the storyline of the show you would see that it is a quality show worthy of every award it has won: The Emmy's won by actors Jane Lynch and Neil Patrick Harris... and Ryan Murphy for outstanding Directing in a comedy series.... outstanding casting and sound mixing... I mean, 4 golden globes... In the end, for the little sisters of the world who think the Glee covers are the best things that have ever happened, again, they are

  • (continued 2) You may get angry that they cover "the great songs"... but what other songs would you like them to cover? They do Lady Gaga and Katy Perry and Rihanna.... but if that was it i probably wouldn't like it. I understand where you are coming from, but I just felt a little defensive. It is a TV show (which is purely entertainment). These people haven't just made a band and copied famous songs.

  • (continued) But it's introducing them to something great. To those of us who knew these songs before Glee even existed, hearing the first notes of the song come on as we watch the show just gets us excited. "How are they going to perform this one? How will they put their own spin on it?" Yes, you say they can't remake it and call it their own... but how are they doing that? Glee has very few original songs- they do covers... just like we do in our vocal group at school. It is realistic.

  • I agree with you, except for one thing. As a member of a high school vocal group, like in Glee, I can understand exactly why these songs are chosen. They are GREAT songs and are extremely fun to sing. There are a thousand ways you can bring out the many parts of the music with voice and give it even more depth with harmony. . The Glee versions or "covers" of these songs are just that. Covers. To younger kids, sure, the show is what introduces them to these great classics.

  • my tasted in music hasn't changed since the 90's whatever i listened to as a kid i listen to now from rap to rock to r&b to heavy metal i got the best tastes in music just like the movies & tv 90's down there is nothing after the 90's in entertainment thats any good utter garbage today

  • music will always evolve, just wait another thirty years and see what happens. Could be bad could be good.

  • All generalizations are false.

  • if you want to listen to good rap songs ANY song that is sang by lupe fiasco, lowkey, immortal technique, and diabolic alll of their songs have good meaning behind them.. i believe the music industry is putting out songs about going clubbing and having fun to get our mind off of the war and the crisisis in the U.S @TheInferno515

  • The music industry is stupid and it is for people who are ignorant and stupid.

  • I collect music and find out about all kinds of progressive bands, world music, medievel, all kinds of excellent and emotive music. i am not a big fan of rap, i am sorry but I do love music. I am not into the music industry. It is all about mindless people who are looking good in videos.

  • @peoniesfleur exactly, justin beiber is only famous as he is because he looks good. if he was ugly i can guarantee you that he wouldnt be as famous

  • @shimeonmorpheus He has a pleasant face, but I don't think he is handsome or good looking. He seems kind of ordinary.

  • @peoniesfleur no really no one cares about his music. whenever i hear people talk about him its always he is so cutee omg. surprisingly i never hear anything about his music

  • @shimeonmorpheus Yes, well, that is the way the whole music industry is. It is all about their videos, skin, faces, body, hair, and clothes or lack of clothes.

People are so impressed by fame, that they forgot to search for todays real musicians. Poor kids.

  • I have to disagree. No meaning? No soul? No feeling? Every time I listen to Hospice by The Antlers I cry. I cry, because it's a fucking sad album that this band poured their heart into. Another album that is full of the artist's heart and soul is Funeral by Arcade Fire. That album is beautiful.

You've been completely blinded by the pop music that you don't know where to look for good music. It's right in front of you, you just have to open your eyes, man.

  • i totaly agree jimi hendrix,bb king, ac/dc,eric clapton, black sabbath etc. is great music in my opinion. sorry if my english sucks by the way :)

  • Great video!

  • It sure does.

  • i like bruno mars, he's good

  • The Black Eyed Peas are thieves.

  • There's some pop songs I like, but the rest is pure BS!

  • i agree completely with you on all this

  • true true true man

  • Americans have been brainwashed by shitty music and movies to dumb them down. The artist also don't care because they know they could make millions of terrible songs, so why try? It is a terrible reality but it is very true people who don't use logic are easily impressed with crap.

  • @yuc321 u couldnt have grasped it any better lol. spread the word

  • 9:46 lol ha ha ha ha

I agree cuz ever since when MJ died theyve been using some of his songs to help them do music and even the wack rappers are trying to copy 2pac's and biggie's style

  • 06:00: Hahaha...a "shit dress" instead of a meat dress for Lady Gaga!! That would be more than fitting, both in terms of her expressing tasteless outrageousness, as well as showing the tasteless outrageousness that society craves and consumes today. The explosion of music/art creativity of decades past has today morphed into an artless, mindless fashion accessory for millions of sheeple. And, the media industry, mindful of its bottom line and carrot-stick bonus structure, wants it that way.

  • @Catdude5000 im glad u agree. now please help spread this video. share it with EVERYONE, cuz a lot of people need to see this

  • AMEN. Justin bieber can not sing.

    Now elvis, mj, hahahaha!

and the old rap was awesome too.

  • @m16a4lazor glad u agree. now please help spread this video. not for views, just for the good of music

  • @TheInferno515 Bruno does have a good voice but his music is too generic.
