Never fly with this airline. If they cancel your flight like they did mine because of volcanic ash, they will make no attempt to get you on another flight. They treated me really badly and each time I called their call centre in India they hung up on me as soon as they heard I was a stranded passenger. They are very rude and abrupt; never fly with them the interior of the cabin is pathetic and they in flight entertainment would not work! The toilets were disgusting and the crew did nothing!!!

Planes which Cross The Atlantic are Given Certian Routes, This Air-India was Allowed by the Air Traffic Controllers In Shannon Airport , Ireland, might have Asked it to Pass Below Flight Level 1000. That is 1000 Feet. Planes which Comes From New York is Given Flight Directions from New Found Land Or Some where near The East side of America...

Hi ... interessantes Video. Frage ...: Wie kann es sein, dass sich zwei kommerzielle Flieger sogar auf einem Atlantikflug so nahe kommen? Ist das normal? Ihr scheint lediglich wenige hundert Meter höher zu fliegen. Habe auf Flügen bisher andere Jets nur in weiter Ferne fliegen sehen.

Das ist normal. Auf den Flugwegen die 10,000 Metern und hoeher sind, muessen Fluglotse und Piloten mindestens 300 Metern vertikal zwischen Machinen lassen. Ueber dem Atlantik haben the Piloten Plicht durch Kommunikation zwischen einander das zu schaffen. Ich hoffe mein Deutsch is klar genug dass Sie mich verstehen!

Fast richtig. Wir stellen den Abstand nicht auf gut Glück durch eigene Kommunikation sicher, sondern wir erhalten vor Einflug auf den Atlantik eine Freigabe für eine bestimmte Höhe, einen bestimmten festgelegten Weg und eine bestimmte Geschwindigkeit. Alle 1000 Fuß, also ca. 330m, kann ein Flugzeug fliegen. Der Abstand der Flugzeuge in gleicher Höhe ist dagegen sehr groß. Also alles sicher!

Beim Verbrennen von Kohlenwasserstoffen entsteht auch Wasser bzw. Wasserdampf. Ist also nur der Abgasstrahl den man sieht.

700 Grad heisse Abgase treffen auf -50 Grad kalte Luft. Das kondensiert dann schon mal. Ausser wenn die Luft sehr trocken ist, dann entstehen keine Kondensstreifen.
