Why not? He sang this song for the Pop category during the world championships. Aerosmith's version kasi is Rock so he cannot sing it with that arrangement for the competition, regine's version on the other hand is Pop kaya yon ginamit nya.

What's important anyway is he sang it so well besting 3,000 contestants from 53 countries to win the Grand Champion Performer of the World award, just be greatful for the honor that Jed brougjt to the Philippines.
