  • why isn't there an automatic replay button Dx

  • With the military technology humans will have by the year 2154 (when avatar takes place) we wouldnt loose to a bunch pterodactyls and rhinos. Im not saying that im rooting for the humans, but lets get real here. Great movie still though.

  • the only real thing i think at the most avatar ripped off not that it doesnt bother me but it looks like they used some vehicles from this game that my lil bro like its something i think it was halo idk but look at the warthogs and the helicopters they fly in when jake met the couger and rinos they were in a chopper that looks like it was off of a game which to me i think is pretty cool

  • I've seen Fern Gully and Pocahontas, but I still love Avatar. It doesn't matter to me whether two movies are similar or if one is a rip off. If the movie is good, then I don't care. I'm not about to let that little fact affect my objectiveness. I think Avatar is amazing.

  • avatar sucked ass

  • When i first saw the previews for Avatar I thought it looked so dumb. I refused to go see it. When it came out on DVD my sister made me watch it. Now I LOVE it. James Cameron is a truly talented man. Kudos

  • @AmazingItalianGirl you do realize that almost every movie has been done before? some are just way more popular then others. if you have an idea it's probably been done before.

  • I love blue Pocahontas...sorry blue Fern Gully...sorry...i meant blue Dances with Wolves.

  • is there anyone that wanted the humans to win? (the marines)

  • @WawFusion10th why? they were just destroying everything...

  • @youpon1000 cuz they were awesome i didnt like the gay ass blue mockeyz

  • I think the whole point james cameron made is that earth is our pandora, and we might have to fight to protect it. are you ready...

  • omg i rememer my bladder about to explode in the movie theater but i wouldnt dare stop watching the movie , didnt wanna miss a second

  • @TheMrspoofy lol i know what u mean

  • i wish i be myself...no offence...

  • Ok just letting people know but those flying creatures arnt actually called banshees, thats just what the marines called them (in mythology a banshee is a floating spirit who has an earsplitting scream,) I forget their full name as its long But i know it starts with a T, like teroyandon or something weird like that

  • @mrmapegothe13th theye names are ikrans, the floating mountains are called tantalus, and ikanimya, but the big ikran is called Leoneptorux

  • @mrmapegothe13th The big one was called Toruk by the Na'vi, Great Leonopteryx by the humans.

  • i wish i live on pandora :D funny . if we lived on pandora soon would be like earth. :) First, we must learn to live on our planet WAKE UP :)

  • I noticed that there are many depressed people who constantly dream about being the Na'vi and living on Pandora...people - it's a movie! There's nothing real about it!

    Face reality as it is!

Just live with the constant traffic noise. Breathe the aromatic smog. Drink and eat the delicious chemical poison.

Why dream about life on Pandora if Earth is ''better''?!

  • @uja11 It's nice to dream sometimes o_o Might as well have somethin' to think about besides the crappy world o_o

  • We all would like to live on Pandora...... but do not forget.... once Earth was exactly like Pandora... clean and pure.... we have killed that...such a shame ...

  • being a na'vi would be awesome!! riding a banshee and having a na'vi girlfriend, ahhh if only dreams could come true

  • theres no internet or pc's on pandora...

  • beautiful music, beautiful movie, everything about it was fantastic, the effects, the acting, the language, the graphics... everything was AMAZING!!!

  • this was easily one of the most epic movies I have ever seen in my ENTIRE LIFE. To the point where I was litteraelly standing in my homeboys living room talkin bout some damn "YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEEE!" LOL it was funny...

  • I wish i were a Na`Vi

I wish my GF would be Neytiri

    I wish i had a banshee

I wish i live in Pandora...

  • this movie got me addicted too well i dont like the feeling lol

  • We shoudl topple the world governments and corporations and go back to an agrarian society, back to our roots! Don't you see? This is just a story of what Europeans did to the Natifves, and other countless cultures have done to each other int he past.

  • @roytboga And have the world topple into chaos! :D

  • BEST FUCKING MOVIE EVER! Man I wish I could go on Pandora and like ride a banshee that would be intense

  • wish pandora would be true. Then it would be amazing.. *sighs dreamliy*

  • To be there on Pandora, only a hour would be the best thing that ever happened to me.

  • this song will not be enough classic, does not compare to the master John Williams

  • @indianajonesindy You mean the schlock master John Williams.

  • @indianajonesindy Aren't you also the idiot who hates Star Wars. Yeah, I thought so. I won't read any of your responses. Spent too much time on you already. Ed

  • film genialny

  • stardusth2o we call it the future of cinema!

  • Screw titanic, cameron made aliens and terminator 2 aswell...much more relevant to avatar considering the usage of special effects etc

  • agreed. titanic was just oh my god wheeny whiny "sad" shit.

  • Clearly you have no idea how many special effects were used in the making of Titanic...

  • Not half as many as there was in aliens. Not even half as many as there was in T2.....

  • It doesn't matter WHAT they used to create the world, it's how they used it. And they used it masterfully. The reason it looks so real is cause of Cameron's videion and the team of artists that worked on the movie.

  • no this isnt in the movie this was created for the movies website but is no longer in use

  • This WAS in the movie though. At the beginning of the scene when Jake is about to get into his Avatar for the first time. They're hosing the chamber down after they had taken the avatar body out.

  • that isn't the theme

  • no but this music is probably in the movie. don

    't you think?

  • what is this called?

  • avatar

  • I wish I lived in Pandora lol its the new Utopia!

  • yeah that would be cool : )

  • :DD

  • would you support me and subscribe to me and ill do the same

  • Me too!

  • @seplrm rofl i kinda agree ;)

  • this isnt the theme...

  • what you dont like Neytiri?

  • The song is 'I See You' by Leona Lewis

  • I loved the movie but thats not the theme

type in theme song for Avatar and you'll find it

I want to be an Avatar!!

  • I liked the movie, but I didn't love it.

I was dazzeled by the effects and all, and it really is new creating...

But I kinda felt I had seen it before. The plot was very similar to movies like Dances With Wolves etc. I know fans of the movie hate to hear this but it really is true. I wonder why they didn't change the script a little bit.

  • Well think about it this script was made in 1996.This may be original but the movie is quality compared to the garbage movies of 2009.

  • wish my GF would be Neytiri to becouse se is kinda sexy and she is a good hunter

  • I think I'd prefer Zoe Saldana for that blue... thingy.

  • I wish i were a Na'Vi

I wish my GF would be Neytiri...

    I wish i had a banshee

I wish i live in Pandora...

  • I know what you mean. ;________;

  • @FreyKaz : o rly? What if you wanted to play some video game? Call a friend on your cell phone? Order pizza? Not getting eaten? Think about it....

  • @FreyKaz Man i know how you feel, I almost cried after the movie!

  • @FreyKaz All I can say is, LOL

  • @FreyKaz lmfao, are you authistic? :x

  • @FreyKaz we kinda do live in pandora in a way

  • @RyanMartinMulcahey yeah but humans fucked it up : /

  • @RyanMartinMulcahey how...?

  • @FreyKaz id never want to be a na'vi...it might be fun for a little but the lack of technology would blow

  • @assassin12341

God, please let brains fall off the sky.

  • @AssYs for your sake i hope so, you cant deny the fact that jake sully did betray his race.

  • @assassin12341 dude you'd be in total bliss. You wouldn't care about technology. You'd be perfectly healthy and fit (I mean you might be now idk) and just eat whatever the hell you want. It would be paradise.

  • @MasteroChieftan ok well first of all other than the lack of a variety of awesome food we have now, pandora seemed to have 4 different animals and a bunch of plants.... lets start with the lack of a toilet?? lol thats a big problem...for people that dont like bugs will go nuts on pandora living in the wilderness. also there will be no more computers and no more lights. I want to see you try to live without technology...most people fall apart without a dam cell phone. its not paradise, its hell

  • @assassin12341 too a human yes, but to a na'vi, no.

  • @MasteroChieftan well as we all know jake sully is longer human or na'vi :D but i think if you were to become a na'vi right now on pandora you would miss technology

  • @assassin12341 agreed man, these guys are kinda nuts if you ask me...

  • @FreyKaz

    Your wired.....

  • @personguyy To what? The Matrix?! Maybe THAT's how you can get to Pandora!

  • Luv this movie best ever

  • I wish i had a banshee to fly in the vast forests of the beautiful pandora...

With the time you start entering the movie, suddenly you are a na'vi.

  • i agree on every level

  • @youtubamigo i wish i had fought and bled for earth

  • Best movie EVER, no doubt..!

(in 2-3 weeks they collected: $1,054,913,941!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE hell!)

The movie will turn out to be the best visited/selling movie in history :o

    YAY!!!!!

  • This was the best movie I've seen.

And not just because it looks pretty... it's the story and the moral behind it.

The fantastic view into a world where there are individuals touch with nature and have a peaceful way of living full of respect for all the surrounds them.

Makes me sad living as a human being... we're so out of touch with nature and we do so much harm to it too.

I wonder, if we were more Shamanistic... would a world like this exist ?A world hidden by our own destructive ways?

  • exactly how i feel. this movie was the best ive ever seen 2009 ,i wanna see this movie again. its so fucking awesome!

  • @vespzor - Same here.

  • @Zinriusminazen

You get in of the theatre as a simple human, but get out... changed in some kind of way.

    You got that too? :)

  • i got that

  • the 3D effects are incredible!....and that's it....

  • @StevieGG08 - PSH! the action, romance was the best part of the movie. The whole damn thing hooks ya from start to finish.

  • yes... only action,3D and 3D...ohhh and I forgot to say 3D....romance as always....I don't say that is a bad film...on the contrary..it's the most incredible IMAX experience...and the world created by J.Cameroon is pure art...he really deserves an oscar....but that doesn't really make this a film an OSCAR contender for the best motion picture....the real winners are films like Precious

  • great movie, yet sad.

  • I've seen this movie over 10 times in theaters already. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT!

  • Amazingly beautiful movie...the best thing to happen to cinema in years. Amazing, breathtaking, epic. <3

  • This is the best movie i ever seen!!! :D wen i watched it in theaters i actually felt like i was one of them and i was in pandora, really i did thats how this movie is that good

  • actually this movie also reflects on how savages were treated back int he day. New landers didnt care about their weay of living all the wanted was gold and materials to sell. Very inspirational film. I would love to meet the creator of this film and worship the ground they walk on cause this has by far been the best movie i have ever seen.

  • Nashcrash - so true, it's a total reflection of how a part of humans are heartless. The white folks and the natives. I bet this movie hits that scenario well!

  • @VanL01 I asked a friend if he'd seen it and he said "No, it's just Pocahontas with blue people, amirite?" and I was like "Oh yeah....." lol

  • @potterluvver - Hell no it aint. Why? cause a soldier falls for a native, FYI their aliens. Secondly Pocahontas was GAY and had nothing to be even close with avatar.

  • I rather think that we only could dream of a world like this.

the Humanity way is going out of control.

the only thing what comes around is to react about it.

But imagine when you wake up while the sun is rising and you feel one whit everything.

  • seen this movies..and will seen again at 3d

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • this is basically the start of track 2 of avatar OST: Jake enters his avatar world

  • awesome movie

  • This movie was in fact one of the most inspirationally phenomonal movies in the history of film. The idea behind the planet of Pandora and the indigenous population there almost reflects what our lives as humans on this planet could if been if our advancement had been geared more towards nature instead of technology. Perhaps if humans had not began the destruction of our natural world, we too could have lived as they did in a world were all living things could become connected as one

  • Thats an interesting thought, but you are right, that would be fabulous

  • haterhater25L Yes you are right. Humanity has entrusted leadership that has made horrible decisions and continues to do so.

  • best movie ever

  • Imho it's very good, very sensual and gentle, full of memorable themes, simple and delicate... but of course modern pseudo-sci-fi like Star Wars Star Treck Star Gate made us think and expect the music to be fast, intense, loud and very schematic... While Avatar's music was ment to bold out very sensual and subtelle aspects of the movie, like the romance for instance... Remember the scene where Neytiri holds Jake and they say I see you? Those delicate notes in background just...

  • ...struck my heart and made me both squeeze out a single but very important tear... and a smile of joy...

While in other pictures music serves to make action more intense... here it takes us to world of dreams and magic... great, simply great.

  • @YuriPRIME

I agree, however, star wars isn't modern, in fact, it was one of the first sci-fi films. If you ask me, avatar shines in the sense that it is a sci-fi film that does not abide by any cliches, or at least presents itself so well (and music does agreeably contribute to this) that it seems completely new for that matter.

  • 3D definitely!

  • Saw it whole in 3D ^_^ just mind blowing!..Best movie I've seen on the cinemas for a long time! Just waiting till it drops out on Blue-Ray!

  • 2 days ago i saw it in 3-d i think neytiri is so hot!!!

  • yea :D... It's like u want to be one of them :P

  • yep i just wanna see it again and again!

  • ^^... I'd like to dream about it, Im in there xd, and never wake up :P

  • lucid dreaming :)

  • agreed

  • Just saw this movie in 3-D as well, in a hugeeee theatre. It was worth the two and a half hour wait ;)

  • Watched it for the second time in IMAX and 3-D...

I had to wait in a 35-minute PRE-PAID ticket line for the 3:30 showing of the 3-D IMAX Avatar today.

Oh man, was it good. After I walked out of the theater, I checked the times for Avatar. All the shows except for 2 late-nighters were all sold out. This included the digital, 3-D, and IMAX 3-D.

  • what song is this?????? please somone tell me !!! ive been lookin for the name forever its not on the soundtrack please tell me!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @marvista just download it from youtube. go to google and write dvdvideosoft and download the youtube to mp3 converter

  • its called "i see you" by leona lewis

  • This movie SHOULD not be seen online, or even on dvd. It's a movie made for the cinema and it's worth seeing again!

  • could not with you more. It was absolutely stunning in the theatre

  • Think you forgot the word 'agree' in that comment ;). Anyways I just saw this movie for the second time in the cinema, after it had proven all my low expectations to be wrong, I just had to see it a second time. And in 3D! This is such a beautiful movie.

  • yeah I've only seen it once but it was in 3D and second row from the front XD. I seem to recall being in awe at some points.

  • Seen it twice in the cinema now ;) and if I had some more money to spare, I'd see it again.

  • you steal from cameron, pal. stop that and watch such great pieces of art in cinema.-.- (sry if I didn't get it right, german^-^)

  • Saw the movie today. It was OUTSTANDING, haha. loved it!! go see it!

  • i watched this film in 3d and its very nice..

    best effects ive ever seen

  • @sdfsfsfe3 go to a fucking cinema u pirate!! U couldn't see it in 3D...ohh, bad luck!

  • Comment removed

  • This movie was awesome.

  • i hate humans! we destroy everything!

who needs computers? who need cutting-edge technology?

all we need is THAT! in the movie! hunting and other stuff like the na'avi. arent they happy? ofc they are. they see robots and rockets and they hate them. if we see robots and alien spaceships we say: oh i want that!

    pf!

  • lol you're funny man!

"who needs computers?" -> yourself - as it took you a computer and cutting-edge technology to type this comment on this particular video.

it's just a film man and learn to be a REALIST. the na'avi just won a battle... humans will eventually fire nuclear missiles and wipe every living thing on that planet lol..

  • you missed the whole point. and I'm pretty sure that I could've lived without making this comment :)

  • oviously u were'nt lookin at the screen half the time and didnt see how good it was

  • @phantom1593

they were happy because of their beliefs, their unity with nature. in fact, hunting and killing (to eat, of course) made them rather unhappy. they felt they were taking away from the mother nature and had to apologize in taking life

  • that was exactly my point. that unity with nature, i know it sounds hippie, but thats the thing we're missing. we destroy the nature rather than unify with it.

  • Avatar is such a touching movie... it makes me sad that i cant spend forever watching it ;(

  • same feelin i got mate

  • agreed

  • @leonellus I COMPLETELY AGREE.

i want to be one of the na'vi. the movie is very touching, peaceful in how they live in harmony with the nature of their world. they believe so strong in the spirit and purity of life, and the sky people will take that away from them. i don't think SO!

  • @leonellus

on a brighter note, cameron has stated he has envisioned the story as part of an overarching trilogy. i really want to go back to pandora myself, just because it ended on such a non-final note. i really hope he comes through on his word and that it doesnt take forever and a day. they have the tech now, so it shouldnt take as long, as he has also stated

  • @mattg90520

    Agreed.

  • I wish that we had phosphorescent forests x3 That would be neat. Anyways, yeah, Pandora is kind of what Earth would look like if we didn't cut down our trees and pollute our air. If we lived more like the Na'vi, we would be much better off.

Afterthought: Wouldn't it be cool to be able to communicate with plants and animals the way the Na'vi do? Gah, why does this movie have to be so awesome?! *wants an Ikran*

  • @7h3Fak3

Have you ever seen a field of fireflies at night before?

Not saying the movie isn't beautiful--it is. Just saying that if you look, you can find it here too... Anyway, I'm sounding like a tree hugger now, I'm going to stop rambling.

  • best movie i've ever seen
