    haha, the "dog's" accent is for comedic effect. it's a "french" poodle on a japanese show, so it's supposed to have a french accent, made silly because those who are born and raised japanese inherently have a japanese accent when not speaking japanese.

  • I Have had this before in a Japanese restaurant in my town, it was delicious. My only problem with it is that the tempura shrimp becomes soggy. =(

    Raw eggs are full of proteins and unless you have radioactive hens, that are fed with toxic waste, walking around ... Its not dangerous

    you can get at asian market at freezer room ,they sell whole white, white pink or white green.

    better for soup or noddle or ramen or udon or anything you like it.

    that is japan cooking method called "otoshi-buta" it mean "drop a cover" .

    what is for,contain broth to ingredients equally and prevent ingredients from broke into pieces.

    if you don't mind of it ,that not necessary tool.

  • @voodootattoo Nope, it's called Kamaboko. It's kinda impossible for Kimboku to be a Japanese word. There's no lone m in their characters, only an n. Kim is a korean word but im unsure if Boku is Korean....

  • @xYukixKurosux Alot of things are called different in japan,(exuse my spelling im pretty much sounding this out o.o) Mitsuba looks a like parsley...Uzu is probally a lemon...shrimps, tempura batter, those are in america... the startch is probally like corn starch, but i'd look it up online (as with all of these!). You could probally find udon noodles at a heathy, farmer's market ( they usually have japanese, chinese etc. foods there) Soy sauce is found in america.

  • @miio1591 As far as I can tell it's a useless step. There's not enough liquid to keep them submurged(sp?). I wouldn't want a 'paper flavor' in my food if you ask me.
