  • Rule #1 in making a video, put a new battery in the smoke detector...

  • @redbaron520

Sorry about that, I was just lazy. =)

  • this is a beutiful and fantastic pistol ;)

  • @30francisko

Honestly I really like it. It's really compact, it's accurate enough (It'll never be a "target" pistol, though), and once I FINALLY get that same failure to return to battery issue squared away, I'll be happy to pass this one down to my son when he gets old enough. It's also a perfect platform to help teach a new shooter the basics, and just an overall fun plinker. =)

  • A 9mm Ruger is also pretty cool. Slightly bigger tho

  • @TeamDarkCrystal

Yes indeed! A friend of mine owns one and I got to shoot it. Pretty sweet piece of gear. =)

  • Holy Crap I thought this was Airsoft!!

    Cool Gun BTW

  • im gonna get one soon and it seems a nice little gun. did you have any problems with it?

  • @DrakelMage

Heya! Personally I love it, but there is still one issue with it. I posted a follow-up video, feel free to check it out. I still haven't gotten that issue fixed, but then again I've been busy.

    Hope that helps! =)

  • was thinking about getting this way back but decided to get my xd sub compact inside...love the look of the p22....maybe someday i will purchase sum walthers...good luck with this

  • @abenewson

I really like it, but in the end I just want something without drama. I'd go with a Ruger, a Browning Buckmark, or a S&W 22A if I could do it all over again. Not necessarily in that order. =)

  • It would be cool if Walther offered a .22 conversion for the P99 instead of a whole different gun :(

  • hey tim i'm not sure if this will help but check out this vid. the guy has a problem

with his slide and shows how to fix it. type

( malgoon ) in you you tube search bar.

    hope it helps.

  • Heya!

Great vid, in case I ever dislodge that spring. =D

    Thanks for the head's up!

  • 350 plus tax would get you a nice glock were im from

  • Yeah, this was purchased really early this year when prices on almost all firearms were through the roof. The price has dropped a lot since.

  • @dlt215 the black guy hockin pistols out of the trunk of his car in Compton doesn't count bud, sorry.

  • @kelsochevyboyCR i dont even live in compton idiot,go fuck yourself ass hole, just because your getting dry fucked in the ass dont mean you got to come at people with that raciest shit you scary ass.

  • @dlt215 Whoa, whoa lol somebody's on the rag. that wasnt anywhere near anything racist. you want racist? how bout shut the fuck up ya loos lipped nigger fuck before somebody whips the shit out of ya and hangs your ass from the tree out back. now THATS racist. pretty sure you can go fuck YOURSELF now...

  • @kelsochevyboyCR now why would you talk about your dad like that

  • @dlt215 nope, talkin about you bitch. Feel free to cry now...

  • @dlt215 your the weakest link good bye

  • LOL, thanks Ploopterfarm, indeed! =D

  • Nice review. Also, good work with the vigilant safety checks. But what about the ever present "safety scolders"? You left them nothing to condemn and, therefore, they can't come off as "holier than thou". I'll bet that bums them out.

  • how much

  • I personally paid $350 plus tax, but once the prices of firearms goes down to a sane level you can find them for about $250.

  • I have a walther p22, and i must say its a love hate type of gun, i paid 300 dollors for it and.22 bullets are cheap, at 25 yrds the gun will hit the target but the grouping sucks dick + it jams a lot

  • im geting the walther p22 what brand of ammo do you shoot

  • I personally use CCI Stinger Hollowpoints. At my local Walmart, I get 100 for about $7.50, including tax.

  • cci mini mag or cci stingers only !

cheap bulk ammo will jam every time

  • i use cheap ammo not 1 jam at all

  • I tried Federal bulk, same failure to return to battery, even after an EXTENSIVE cleaning. I think I'm going to call Smith and Wesson (Walther's dealer here) and see what they have to say.

  • good too know i just got mine at cabelas

for 319.99+tax and everyone keeps telling

use nothing but cci or it will jam. i'm really

exited this is my first pistol mine is o.d.

green i love it can't wait to get to the range

  • Congrats! You'll get a ton of fun out of it. EVERYONE that I've lent it to has great things to say about it. =)

  • now that i've put overf 1000 rounds thru my p22 and had a friend of mine throat the barrel i still won't rec' the cheap ammo

but i can now feed anything thru it know problems luv my p22 no complants from me

  • Good point, the gun is kinda of hit or miss. I'm still getting a failure to return to battery after the first round, but all other rounds left in the magazine work fine, and the gun itself was just cleaned, so I know it couldn't be that. There's a document out there that helps you tweak the pistol up a bit, so I think I'll try that before my next trip to the range.

That being said, for the first 100 rounds, it did jam a lot, but I shot it out of the box w/o cleaning, so there you go. ;)
