Can we be honest? Between the mistakes made, the sluggish pace of the match, and... well... it's bad. Despite liking Shawn and Nash in one way or another, it was a terrible match, let alone the main event for Wrestlemania.

I lol'd when they missed the turnbuckle spot. Also, did anyone else notice that Nash gave Shawn a back body drop, have a 98 or 9 count, then still have Shawn recover first. I also lol'd.

So, it's a bad match. A funny one too, but just so bad...

Pretty good match. Not as good as HBK vs. Nash at IYH in 1996 but still pretty good. HBK is the greatest wrestler of all time. He proves it not only in classics like his Ironman match with Hart or his Ladder match with Hall but also in matches like these. HBK carried Nash through this whole match and brought a decent performance out of Nash. Nash is terrible though. Lowest drawing champ in WWF/E history but in all his interviews he criticizes people on the money they made. Nash is a dumbass.

True fact: HBK was supposed to be escorted to the ring by Pamela Anderson who was with Tommy Lee of Motley Crue at the time. Shawn was involved in a shoving incident with Tommy prior to the match and Pamela decided to escort Diesel to the ring instead. There was the rumor that HBK had slept with Anderson when he was filming an episode of "Baywatch" and Tommy Lee was not very happy about it. Words were exchanged and HBK shoved Lee against a wall.
