Humm. A few people have said they get past him to the big gun turret but everytime I have tried that the Krill slice me up. How did they do it? Is there a light somewhere? Looks like I made this way harder than i needed to perhaps - dodging him, sneaking past him etc. I tried lots of different ideas and a few times emptied all my ammo (torque bow, shotgun, pistol) and grenades at him and he kept on coming right at me and around anything i was hiding behind.

OK so key weapons for me were Torq Bow and Shotgun. Got plenty of ammo from the train carriage you start Pale Horse in. AS soon as I am able to do anything after the movie clip I get cover where I am, and then get Dom out the way by Cease Fire/Regroup. Its then Torque Bow all the way till the boss is getting too close to break cover for. I blindfired all my grenades and 2 got him.

@xAchievements360x continuing...If I had any torq bows left I blind fired these as he stood at the other side of my cover. Then as he turned around the end of my cover I stood up shotgunned his face as fast as I could as close as I could. It looked like he was unable to return fire with the beating he was getting. Then all of a sudden bang...he was dead.

(sometimes Dom attacks and is killed elsewhere, keeping him defensive gives you a better chance of reviving him as he is close when killed)

ok the torque bow explosion or a nade will remove the krill from him which make him immune to weapons fire. As soon as they fly away use the sniper and go for headshots. :>

you should use tourque bow and lancer(the machine gun with the chainsaw) once uve torqued all ur ammo away use the lancer aim at the head and stay in the light so his krill stay away longer use active reload to amp up ur ammo ull find the tourqe bow next to the wall in front of the opening with the sniper

Apparently I'm the allmost the only one, but I'm attempting it on Insane. I whent through 12 torque bow rounds, (89% head shots) and 24 sniper rounds (95% head shots) and 99% perfect reloads. He still didn't drop. (Even though the head shots were when his kryll shield was down.) I think it's imposssible without the damn troika on this difficulty, which sucks, cause it's not lit up. I also tried it with the Lancer, all 620 rounds down, perfect reloads, no kill.

Grenades and the sniper rifle are your only chances. Wait till he tells the Kryll to go after you, then see if you can get a clean headshot. You're going to have to get perfect reloads though.

Go full force on raam at first using a torque bow or a longshot coupled with a lancer or burst by taking out his krill with the big gun and zeroing in on his head with the mid sized weapon then when he gets close(he will in insane) run the opposite direction while staying in the light and take cover as far away as possible and repeat the first part from the new cover.

ok so right at the beginning of the level you can get a torque bow. go up towards the door (not through it)then turn right, then turn right again. Basically from the beginning of the level do a u turn towards the right. There you will fin a torque bow AND a longshhot.

Very good guide. The way I do it (And I find this easier) Is to run to the blocks in front of Raam. Sometimes he gets stuck and all you have to do is blindfire him until he dies.

If he doesn't get stuck, just spin onto the other block and blast at him.

yeah well everything changes on insane. the troika thats available for you to use is useless, seeing as how in 1.5 seconds you will die from RAAM's gun fire.

thats the best strategy tho, this video. i did it on co-op. i used Torque, took out the Kryll, and friend used sniper. thats it.

dudes the easiest way to beat him his go on co-op, stock up on ammo wait for the bow gun and sniper to keep respawing, 1 person pick 1 gun each and both of you stock up on nades wait at the first wall where you start shoot him 4 times each let him run to you and throw 4-5 nades and he is done, i beat insane and hardcore in about 3 minutes doing it this way..

I had 6 torque bow shots and full cahinsaw baynot and it took me awhile but it becomes a pattern

skip scence, run to little wall, shoot, reload, shoot, reload, shoot, when i ran out, i used my gun for about 2.5 clips, then i tagged him as I ran to the other platform, going into lights, then grenade, grenade then wa lah!

What i do is use the lancer to get those the flying things away from him, then pin him with the lancer. if gets close just unload all your grenades on him then run to the other side and keep the pressure on him with the lancer.
