Why modern and "free" western society are crying and can NOT save the problem of AIDS, of teenage pregnancy > abortion and drugs? Why? Oh, I'm sorry for all those who are FOR the ban - but why is it that nuns are not prohibited from wearing what they choose to where, whereas when a Muslim chooses to wear the clothing she (even he) wears, it's immediately a BIG thing.

Mona Eltahawy, I Live in saudi Arabia, so do not lie, I wear the normal headscarf and I and No other women is forced to wear the Niqab, so those are lies which you are speaking. & Also you state your a muslim, Hebah Ahmed is your sister in Islam and you should respect her decision if she wishes to wear the Veil, it's not harming you Mona in your life, so you have your opinions but they're not facts, so leave her be and other muslim sisters who wish to wear the Veil.

But if someone covers his or from head to toe on the street and he or she attack other people, how are you going to describe them to the police? You need to be able to see people faces at least, for your own security. And if they dont like the law of that country, why they dont go back to their country?? As simple as that

French can ban the burqa if they want. Imagine if someone wearing that attack you on the street, you won't be able to identify the one who attacked you since you couldnt see his or her face. It's not about racism. Plus if Muslim women don't like that law they can go back to their countries where they can walk on the street completely covered
