@jmeinen1686 you can still create a disk image of a downloaded game – open Disk Utility, choose File > New Disk Image from Folder, choose the folder that your game is in (with all necessary files if required), click "Image" and choose where you want to save the disk image. Then just mount the disk image whenever you want to play the game!
@blakem1640 - You need to insert the disk ONLY the first time so you can make a disk image using Disk Utility. After you have the disk image, you can take out the disk and run the game from the disk image. Hopefully this clarifies the problem.

why don't you talk? like, yea instead of HEARING YOU, i'd rather read a fast moving banner or words across the bottom of a screen.

I've done everything, but when i open it, it says "(game name) cannot be run off the DVD. Please install the game on your hard drive.

@onipowerkill unfortunately this doesn't work for all games, as I mentioned in the description

@onipowerkill That means drag the game to somewhere to your applications or even your desktop so it has more GBs to work off of

"This video tutorial shows you how to play almost any game for Mac without the need to insert the disk into your computer."
Seems to me like the very first step is to insert the game into the drive....
