  • this is cool .how much would it cost .to make .pls

  • I dont understand how you have this working so fast

Im using the ping sensor and it only uses one servo for 180 left and right and my servos are getting pauses its not like a good rolling movement because im testing the distance every time the wheels move one for next loop :/ i need help

  • Guys, i no longer have the sources of this project, i apologize! :(

I use to move lot for work and sometimes i loose things here and there, more infos here: justcode.it/robotic.html

Sorry for my english and sorry for the missing code, i'm way too busy ATM to rewrite it... i wish you all good luck for your projects, i'm sure that your passion for robotic will make you obtain a way more cool robot! ;)

  • Awesome! I have just started a similar project although i am still trying to get my head around interfacing the cmucam lol

  • Hii, this is cool. I m also doing a robot similar to this one. I have a BrainStem GP 2.0 controller , so can CMUcam3 work with my controller( Brainstem GP 2.0)???

    Thank you

  • vary nice work .m8 .i would love to know .how much it cost .to make .ps .wanna make one :)..great work 10stars

  • Hey this is bloody cool mate! The bot seems "alive" . Thumbs up. But i have a few questions about ur bot. 1st how many volt does the CMUCAM3 require? . do u supply the voltage from arduino pin (Vin or 5v) or it has a independent source?.

2nd: is that arduino motor shield above the pan-tilt servo? Is the pan-tilt servo controlled from CMUCAM3 or Arduino? . thanks Justcode37.. u r the man!

  • I like this so much I jsut ordered the tamiya parts to try and replicate it. This will be a great project for my arduino. I'll order up a CMUCam as soon as i get the rest of it functional

  • Very nice project!

  • Please post code or send to me . . .. i wanna make some robot with cmucam3 . . thx b4 . .

  • Please post code or send to me. I really like this little bot. Thanks

  • @313Chan

I'll release very soon the source code, maybe this week end. I thought to wait until the code was complete but i can not save more spare time for this project so it's better to share it and see if someone else can bring it to life

  • @justcode73 Please!!

  • @justcode73 Please!!

  • @justcode73

Is it possible to send the code to me as well, I want to make this it looks so fun!

    Thanks

  • Hey mate! Nice looking bot there! I was wondering, how does the communication between CMUcam and Arduino work? Are you using the second UART port on the CMUcam to connect to the Arduino via software serial?

  • @freddelito

    Exactly!

  • how does it measure distance? it seems to go forward and follow when you move the ball away. but how did you do it?

  • Hi, i apologize for this late reply... i moved to a new job and i cant save spare time to go on with this project :(

The robot knows the size of the ball, so it use the perceived size to estimate the distance... big ball is nearest than a smaller one

  • The head moves with the body! Thats wicked cool dude id like to learn how to write that. Do you think you could post the code? OPEN-Source for every one!

  • @wawcoldfire

Source code will change a lot when i'll add some sort of gripper, final version will be public but i'm still far from the objective...probably months, many

  • Cool project, love the sound of the cmu module moving almost sounds alive.
