what I love in this game is that its central theme is water: the spheres, blitzball arena, a game with lots of underwater fights, the vast beautiful scenery of Spira, even this romantic scene of Yuna and Tidus... hearing the water splashes, rushing fountains and rivers, and movement it is very refreshing, calming and relaxing...

this is definately my favorite final fantasy, the story the graphics, even the voice acting was great, battle mechanics spot on :), my only problem with it was the shere grid, not to say it was a bad system, but it removed individuality from the characters IMO, u could basically chose anyone and at the end they were the same except for yuna who could summon which did spoil it for me since it removed alot of strategy elements for me atleast

Eh, considering that there's an hour total of CGI time in this game, every single second of it has to count, and there is a LOT of epic stuff in the CGI cutscenes.

Every second of CGI costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time.

FFX had a huge budget, staff, and quite a bit of time, one of the biggest budget PS2 games for sure.

Luckly it made TONS of money of course.

FFXII and FFXIII both took forever and were extremely expensive.

FFX on PS2?

The making of stuff about voice acting, facial animation, all the other work was certainly interesting.

PS2 has a 294 Mhz main processor and 40 MBs of total memory, man they must have really known what they were doing, having DVDs and a drive that is 12 times as fast as PS1 certainly helped.

And dear god having 100 times as many polygons compared to the PS1 makes all the difference in the world.

Still, would be EPIC if it had 2 hours instead of 1 hour of CGI.

One could argue that Ronso don't quite understand human emotions and connections, and in that way Kimarhi's presence at the spring would be as invasive/distracting as that of a pet. (a.k.a, slightly uncomfortable perhaps, but not a hindrance) Especially with how in love Tidus and Yuna are.
