i hardly recognise it from that video.

i was there two weeks ago and there was hardly any water in it due to the lack of rain recently...

the V at the start is much more pronounced and the gradient a lot steeper.

Also it is now very much two seperate rapids, the first one as described above and another much easier section of grade 1-2 with no real line at all, just keep pointing down stream...

really, you dont need to... just point the boat straight through the middle and keep paddling hard! .... then drag it out and run it agian.. and again..and again!

enjoy!... hope its a good flow. This was a reasonable height and flow. The rapids are usually much lower at summer level but still good fun.....
