What do you suppose the flowing of the satin sheets meant? It just dawned on me after all this time what I think it meant. And the shampagn bottle?....... Yea. Way to go OLTL. Though I don't think it would fit today's OLTL, I really liked this theme.
The ABC NEWS Brief that airs immediately following "One Life to Live" every afternoon is now the only newsbreak airing on network television during regular programming.
I know Lee Holdridge does the song but does anyone know what the title of the song is so I can try and download it. I want to because I like the song...and quite frankly use it while making love to a woman. :)
There's no issue that I was aware of however CBS commentated only at night except for when Y&R came on that was it. The other soaps on CBS stayed the same no matter what.
CBS led the way on displaying closing daytime credits and themes. ABC and NBC (DAYS) always had some stupid announcer blabbing about what was coming up later, or perhaps later that night thoughout the ENTIRE closing - almost to the point of drowning out the theme. Shut the fuck up already! CBS NEVER did that.
I too hated the way both ABC and NBC played their voiceovers during the long credits. At least ABC lets us hear the theme during the voiceover, while NBC totally mute out the theme song entirely duing their voiceovers, especially during their N and Peacock days on shows such as Days of Our Lives, Santa Barbra, and Another World when not only would they mute out the theme song entirely but they also even play their own network bumper cues on their voiceovers, too!
That was the first time I ever seen the closing credits with the Satin sheets last that long. I liked that theme music. I've liked a lot of the theme music for OLTL though don't care for the current one. In answer to your question Tiffani, I'm willing to guess that the man from Monica's past was patient David Langton, he came to Port Chuck after a crash landing and was Dawn Winthrop's father, Monica's late daughter. Needless to say, it caused friction for her and Alan.
No shit sherlock! I know what the name of the city is on that show. I don't watch it anymore anyway and people call it that for the fun of it. Wow you're stuffy!
well I didn't appreciate being made to look like a moron, but if you'll view what we said later on, it was a mutual misunderstand so now things are swell between us.
Hmm... who was that made Monica ran into, Ned, right? I was only 12. Trying to remember. LOL

The voiceovers were how some networks made money but that has changed.

Wow. I didn't know that. I hope they don't take issue with that now.

Even though I hated the opening credits of the Satin Sheets intro, however I did enjoy the long closing credits from the Satin Sheets though.
