i got one of this and its so slow. i did upgrade on mine and and its freakin fast. i will upload video soon. engine modified to 26cc fueli engine same thing that the 5b baja or ss engine but would not recomend to change youre engine if you dont have the right tools to make it fit. it took me atleast 5hours to figure it out how to make it fit.
if you just change the clutch its alot faster, its the low rpm clutch thats in it, u can dril the shoes to make em lighter spin out at higher rpm, or put a new clutch spring in, like baja 5b!
i had one of these but there shit. i wouldnt reccoment 1. i got a baja now there much better quality and faster and probably cheaper cause of all the stuff i have to buy for the xrc when it constantly breaks
i had a bad servo and it cost £25 and my reciver has gone ok car but need to be careful not to land on front of the car it brakes the shell and wheel arm yours does not have upgarde suspension thats the 1 that cums wid it
oh it does have upgraded suspension arms, it came with some tiny little plastic brackets, stapped as soon as i rolled it, new ones are from xrc rc2A mines was just the rc2, have a look on their website
i dont like my xrc buggy. all it has done was broke on me. ther is something with the gears. they keep slipping and stripping. i dont know what to do! have you or any one had this problem?
yes the lil chinese ppl who build them do it wrong, they need rebuilding i just did mine and there was alsorts wrong, the gears were out of line, had to take most of backend off to get it straight
I also added the up graded suspension,Its a big improvement from the stock.I also got a Xcan exhaust 7/8 outlet. I added a 4 port modified cylinder & piston for $60.00. Runs great with the FG 22/44 gear set & still fits under the gear cover. Hits 54 mph on the gps.
i am trying to get the xcan hard to find in the uk, looks like davesmotors is the way forward, i got this upto 38 on the gps, after i drill a 3mm hole in each clutch shoe the clutch will fly out at higher rpm i tried the 23/41 gear was too much wheel spin am back to 24/40
are these good buys?

My servo horn keeps breaking, think its something with the servo overload
WRCMeister 3 years ago
@WRCMeister the servo horn on which servo, steering or throttle?
johnyfido 2 years ago
@johnyfido the steering, went though 2 stock before getting a rhino.
now i sold it, got 140$ probaly because the rhino was in :P
