  • Im 16 & iwanna start tattoooing igot a tattoo machine ijust need the power supply box any ideas where to get one cheap?

  • @TheRealANTS1 Don't buy a cheap power supply unless you want dotty looking lines. No matter how good the gun, a cheap power supply WILL make spotty lines. The best lest expensive power supply, which has 4 amps is at superiortattoo APS-415 Power Supply. Get it with the footswitch for 109 because it uses banana clips. Your power supply should have at least 3 amps. Also be sure to use a gun for at least $80. Unless you want shitty lines.

  • this wise guy is going to reusing grommets and rubberbands, does not bag machine and not clip cord cover. And by the table top yea we know man !!!

  • @Scoobieish only a demo silly

  • @Scoobieish As long as you don't touch the clip cord with clean gloves during the tattoo proceedure, there is no possibility for cross contamination. Same with a lamp. So long as you don't touch the thing with bloody gloves, then you can transfer blood from it to something else. I think people forget why some things are bagged in the first place, like water bottles because bloody gloves touch them.

  • @architectus777 *can't transfer.

  • He didn't bend the Needle bar, i've seen other videos that they say to bend the needle bar just a little. Is that true?

  • @Musicvideos19 only for shading and is personal preference for most. I've been tattooing for years done 100's and never bent a bar, nothing wrong with mine, nothing but style

  • @shadow8540 The reason to bend a needle bar, but better yet bend the needle a bit, is so the needles run up against the inner backside of the tube tip. That along with rubber band tension makes for the most smooth lines. But even better is use the Whip by Swashdrive. Easily used as a liner, shader, color packer, everything. It so quiet, smooth, soft hitting, lending to fast healing.

  • @Musicvideos19 I have never bent a needle bar either. There is never any need for it. The most I ever do to a needle bar is open or close the hole that fits over the grommet. Definately dont bent themX

  • @Headshothorror4488 ok man thank 4 the heads up. lol as u can cim just new at tattooing.

  • About 2-3 years ago i put a&d on a small part and "lotion" on another spot, the spot with a&d got all gooy in like a hour smearing. You can use to much VERY easily and block the tattoo from breathing. I just put a thin layer. It happen so fast and the other spot was fine. Not worth the trouble to me. Curel *ultra healing*( ingredints: start with water) Works great and lets it breath, U can use it many times a day. But wash tat before u put it on every time

  • A&D is oil based like petroleum. Also if you add another layer without washing like crazy b4 it can build up very fast. Its to much of a problem to worry about how much u put on, plus it feels oily and it is meant for freshly opened skin, the second day i would not use it or once wrap comes off i dont. IDK but i dont like it and many say not to use it.*Lucky fish tattoo care video* on You-tube( lady in witch hat can explain at 2:30 or so). Do what works for U tho :) just a tip

  • You shouldnt use Petroleum Jelly. it has Sodium in it and can dry the tattoo out and pull the ink out. Your best bet would be to use A&D ointment or non secented lotion.

  • @91IttyBitty Um A&D is a petroleum based product, Allot of artists say not to use a&d now. It blocks the breathing of the tattoo and will cause ink to bleed out and leave a chunk like scab from ink smearing out in bits. There are professional artists saying the same thing on u tube. Search healing a tattoo or something. Most say stay away from a&d and i agree from my experiment. A lady in a witch type hat is one of them explaining it on u tube

  • As a tattoo artist, Im glad to see he's telling you to work with rubber cloves.

MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT AUTOCLAVING!!! lots of people need it

  • nice has helped me`alot!!

  • dont like the way you he sticks the needle in i much rather put it through the tube before putting her together so that way you have more controll of the needle so that way you will not mess the tip of your needle up in any way

  • Check out Basic Fundamentals of Modern Tattoo - do a google search

  • thanks .......i dont nowhat others need to say but this information is worth it

  • @kishmefashions

    Check on youtube:

How to tattoo pt 3 machine setup - paintchips1986

  • are your fucking jokeing all you idoits wtaching this the shit you buy off ebay etc is all bollocks and your just messing people up

  • @farrar101 not all who tattoo at home are scratchers. Mike devries and many other pros today have never had a apprenticeship. FACT , so calm down, yes kids who know nothing and jump into it not knowing a machine and proper tuning and also tattooing dirty and unsafe deserve nothing but a beat down. But allot of them tattoo better then shops and could make it like any other known artist today. U dont need a 400$ known name machine to tattoo good either

  • or is he so small that you could do things without him knowing it..is he so small that you can trick him. is he so small that you can make up rules of your own.

those are signs of spiritual warfare. I know who is the greatest. but I believe that my purpose on earth is to go yo therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the father son and holy ghost. I love Jesus because he first loved me

    (=

  • @djfantom205 your a fucking idiot snap out of it man

  • how big is your go? is big enough to make all he wants to make in six days..?how big IS your god.is he big enough to flood the earth and leave evidence of it ?how big is your god? is he big enough to listen to every single prayer all at once? by the way how big is your god ?is he big enough to know every thought that passes though your head. ?how big is your god?is he big enough to tell you what n what not to even look at. psalms 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.you know,

  • I do not try to be god.every time I try to be god I often end up looking vary stupid.

the bible says that all have sinned. but the bible instructs us to be perfect like god.

the devil can easily twist gods word to convince us to sin.he might say something like"YOUR GUNNA END UP SINNING ANYWAY SO GET IT OVER WITH.or something like"YOUR ONLY HUMAN ITS NATURAL. my realign requires for me to read, live, study, and believe, god's word. not just half.all of it. heres the way I look at totoos and stuff

  • your takin away work from all us pros! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha dick

  • hey heylel I know what your saying, taking money of the " pros" I'm a painter and I was fookin livid when I saw the "how to paint a window"video! jeez what! are pro tattooist a select few and that are the only ones allowed to pass down the secrets of tattooing, fookin get over yourself!

  • my grapefruit hated its tattoo, and wants its money back. what should i do? Did anyone listen to Ron Paul? Lets see... Spend what you have, defend America by having troops in America, trade with anyone, Oh, get rid of the federal reserve as now we see it isnt an American enterprise. Now, how could anyone vote again for Obama in 2012? His idea is: tax, marxism, fascism, become europe ! I wonder if people are stupid enough to vote twice for a Moron. watch my videos

  • i love how u explaine its wonderfull.

  • can anyone please help me? i can't figure out how to hook my machine up to the power supply! the two little clip things. it's really annoying me.

  • all your clips are helpful man thanks

  • Lev. 19:28

"You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD."

  • There's about 15 versions of what that verse says. Which is correct? Do YOU KNOW that King James who had this translated into English originally was correct? Some verses say women shouldn't wear makeup, people shouldn't wear jewelry, men shouldn't have long hair yet every painting of CHRIST depicts him this way. Do you leave these out for convenience or so it fits into the view created for you by having the same sermons pummel your brain every week. Open your mind, leave the judging to God.

  • @evolvethroughscars i totally agree....im sure the lord said alot of other things that you do

  • stfu you fag...god isnt real, now go die in a whole for having to look up to someone to live to, your pathetic

...tattooing is an art and its awesome!

  • @carsenk agreed

  • @djfantom205 I think it's sad that you feel the need to intrude in other peoples lives by forcing your opinion upon them, it's sad little people like you who cause the majority of the problems in the world today with your religious views, if I want to be preached to I'll go to church ( if I want to be preached to)

  • thank u everyone can any one tell me if element tattoo is a good supply store or does any one havea better store thanks again everyone

  • @MrGuerrero2000 i use them all the time just the shipping is a bitch. cost wise. but if its 60 and above free shipping. i love element i buy mostly everything there

  • I want to get into tattooing but I have no Idea

how to set up with the ink, do you have to change needles every time you change a color?

  • no when using multiple colors, have a cup of diluted water on your station to rinse the needle off in between colors

  • hey every1 im fairly new and this guy is a fucking genious im practicing on me and my grapefruits i buy just for my art jajajaja

    any other tips thanks

i repeat im a new guy never done a actual tattoo on someone so please help thank u

  • practice tattoo skins.....not very expensive

  • practice tattoo skins...they wouldn't be very expensive....

  • There about 5 bucks each.. so its worth the money to buy allot of them and practice. they can be wrapped around arms or legs to help you learn on someone.. how to sit.. how to hold your machine etc..

  • VERY NICE

  • eres muy asquerozo no saves nada de higuiene

    go and lorn corss contaminathion

  • lolz at the petroleum jelly.

  • that is weird.. i was offered an apprenticeship at no regrets tattooing and i didnt even ask...

  • I love this guy. I was a professional scratcher & now I'm better than half of you licensed punks. I never used a grommet for my $300 machine, I mean GUN (I know you bastards hate that) and I would have 2 go over the lines a few times because it use 2 skip. Still my work was pretty good. Because of this video I bought some grommets and my work is woohoo! SUPERB! I'm making money baby without pay'n someone 2 mop their floors and clean their equipment for a whole year & get paid nothing. HATERS!!!

  • Hahah hell yeah !!

  • soyceleste

    you are a fucking idiot.

  • dude stfu nobody cares you can say whatever you want on the internet but the truth is you sit in your basement on youtube allday

  • this idiot ..... you dont turn the voltage up to make it run faster . it makes it hit harder , it depends on the resistance. only the front spring and cap make it run FASTER.

  • how many needles should there be for lining and how many for shading

  • It depends how thick it must be according to flash. For lining there are 4 sizes 3,5,7,9 RL For shading I recomend 9 RM and bigger. RM means the needle is Magnum with curved sides. Regards

  • how big is the paice? a back needs giant mags a flower on a wrist will be small. sorry but really its a dumb question. in 20 years i never used anything bigger than a 5 liner but thats my style i hate lines because a want it to look like art not a stupid color book tattoo. i have every size shadder, as you will need to try them all and over time you will know what is best 8-9 mag for small stuff 17 mag for medium or 25+ for larger areas .

  • 100 % agree..

No one wants a coloring book picture for art on them.. you need to try and find what works for you

and the piece your doing.. grab some fake practice skin and test away..

  • i dont care bout the origns of the art or none of that crap.jus cheap tatts like many others.

  • this my thing how the fucc artist will call ppl scatcher wen a person is willing to get a apprenticeship instead of knoccin sumone u should accept them as apprenctices to advace the artfor but if the "scatcher" isnt willing to better them self then thats diffrent

  • well wut abt ppl who are overly anxious to tattoo who jus wanna get a clue..as long as ppl are born u will be continued to be overthrown by fresher younger talent like my self. *fresh* lls ..gotta alot of antimosity in ur heart ...smoke sum green or sumthin...

  • Comment removed

  • what a toss pot.... showing anyone how to set up.... the world is full of scratchers buying stuff off e bay thn people like this guy helping to make more crap on everyone.....BLUNTED his needles straight away..

  • not to mention you never ever have anything on your pallet when you do tattoo like say for instance....ohh.... that vaseline jar...only old hacks use vaseline...more proof this guy is a jerk-off

  • Yeah thanks for K-Marting My Occupation for the world to see for absolutely nothing....no rite of passage....nothing ...It's fuckin douchebags like this that flood the market with hack scratchers ...ok now that your set-up is contaminated and your needles are barbed let's try puttin' some ink in some poor unsuspecting sap...then when it heals come on over and i'll fix it ...hope fully it wont scar too bad....

  • Right of passage? So you went and learned from a culture that tattoos with sticks?

Setup contaminated... yeah that grapefruit is gonna get HepB like RIGHT NOW.

You know what? Id rather see a guy tell people to test shit out on fruit instead of jumping right into skin. Hello! He is setting up to tattoo FRUIT!

Hellz yeah there is more to learn. Any idiot that can count to 20 and read english can figure out there is more to it.

  • ...And yeah apprenticeship is the way to go. BUT you would be surprised how many great tattoo artists started out as *gasp* scratchers!

Might as well practice on fruit or fake skin. Save a friend or two from pain and crap work.

Is he saying this is FOR A HUMAN CANVAS? NO! No no no no.

This is basic basic basic. Get comfortable stuff, nothing more. If you know more... move on. Or yeah... make money cleaning up the mess. Im sure you wont complain. Beats doing another Taz on someone.

  • i agree wit u completely im lookin 4 a apprentice shipnow and the problem is i cant find shops that are lookin and i ownd a tattoo machine for a while but i dont tatt people cuz i dont wanna be labeld a scatcher jus lyk a graf artist doest wanna be labeld a toy

  • I agree everyone starts somewhere.. but it does not matter what your tattooing.. fruit.. practice skin.. or the real deal.. you should always practice with the idea your doing it for real. everytime.. dont be lazy.. cause if you start off being lazy.. you will forget steps and be lazy when it comes to doing it for real.. and if you plan on showing anyone.. you better ass do it properly to teach..

  • uhh yes I studied Irezumi in Japan for three years but electric tattooing is the culture I was born into and what you're doing is sacrilege but you were probably taught by other hack scratchers with no respectable morals, ethics or background in this culture,I don't expect you to agree with me or your blind minions that think you're good at what you do ,obviously they don't know squat about it...I would love to see what they consider a good tattoo to look like.u keep tattin I'll keep fixing

  • Get used to it mate...there are heaps of tattoo machines for sale..i went and got a tat priced $400...i got my kit for $240 set up the machines with shader springs and now have about $2000 worth of tats on myself...i done 3 tats on my mate, 7 on my wife...now more people want tats..my work must be alright hey...i can do it...i think people who cant shouldn't..advice for nooby tattooist's...get good ink, dont use the cheap stuff

  • tony is my fiances uncle, he owns to the point tattoo in crestwood, il case anyone wanted 2 kno

  • dont push dont on the springs . and put the needle in the tube first!

  • Its hard to get apprenticeship man. I tried. Most shops won't take anyone unless they are either a good friend or relative of someone in the shop. So some people have no choice but to learn from YouTube and reading books like I was when I was starting out. I'd like to get back into it but so many Tattoo Nazi's flipping out.

  • have you even tried to find out how hard it is to get a tattoo apprenticeship? I have, and after allot of looking i gave up. But I agree with you, youtube isn't the place to learn how. It just gives people a better idea with what's involved. An apprenticeship is absolutely the best way to go, its just so damned hard to find one.

  • tattoo college in toronto ontario

  • First of all this guy is a douchbag!! Scissors to open ALL sani bags! Never touch the front spiring which he did ALOT. and put the needles in the tube FIRST, then into the vise!

  • (MrDopeDeVille) dude, you are so right, that's the first thing i remarked at this guy....

  • Wow its incredible how stupid he is. A number 5? no such thing. It's a 5 needle round liner.

Grommet mess up your work unless you change them everytime you tattoo. They split in the middle and the needle doesn't puncture correctly. Put the needle in the tube then in the machine other wise its easy to damage the needle. This guy is a hack.

  • good video and thanks for the information

  • good video and thanks for the information

still need to do alot more learning and hope to find a place i can get hands on experience

  • is there anything else i can use besides the "transfer paper" to tranfer the drawing to the skin????? need help plz/

  • yes you can get a thermal copying machine

  • ....

  • you can get one of those no blot pens that you just straight draw on skin with, if you want to not use paper

  • You can simply just use wax paper and a charcoal pencil. But on 1 side of the paper,if you are tracing,Draw the picture lightly on one side. Then on the other side, draw dark so it can be the correct way on the skin(you dont it want to be bakwards when you apply the transfer onto the skin:/)You can use lube to the skin then press gently the paper on the skin(the dark side of the picture youve drawn).Press it more firmly around the area of the transfer.Remember to wipe the ink AWAY frm the transfer!

  • i luv this dude...u r the no 1 :D

ive been waitin for video like thiss all my life...lol

  • woot! awsome tutorial dude! nice! quick, and effective! NOW I KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING WRONG! DAMMIT TOO BAD I CANT GO BACK ON THESE PEOPLE! ;}

  • amen brother!!!

i hate these kinds of douchebags!

  • Thank you!

  • cheers for these videos mate

  • good video. i just bought a kit at the tattoo expo. need some practice. drawing on paper is one thing. skin is a whole new game.

  • Why some people bend the needle bar?

  • Bcoz the needle need to be in straight position.. They bend it so that when they tie the rubber band with the needle, the needle will not bent..

  • this is awesome i've just learnt loads from all this i,m ordering my 1st tattoo kit and extras today cant wait.. :D i,m gonna go buy me some grapefruits lol

  • I have a question, if the machine doesen't have your cable conection, how do I connect it in the classic way?

  • wat do u mean classic way?

  • post more

  • 3 layers of skin? I thought it was just the Dermis and Epidermis.

  • --you're right, it's just that the epidermis has 2 layers.

  • haha i had same problem

  • so thats what grommets were for.. my machine runs so much smoother now hahah
