awesome song i was 12 years old when this came out thats was when there was still good music on tv and ps i have this game two that is when i first herd this song thanks for this.
Ontronik left in 2002 the singer now is Art Karamian so technically the current singer was not in System of a Down but the former singer was in System of a down
@rashadvarma no, snowblind is a cover by system originally by black sabbath.
it was made in 2003. ontronik was the drummer for all the demos. the song mind of systems first album was originaly with andy, then john covered andy's drum part and recorded it with him. another song would be flake, right here on youtube, look up the song flake by system of a down, he drums on that song.
andy is the singr (ontronik khachaturian), he was system of a downs drummer originally, but he left due to hand surgery and was replaced with john dolmayan former drummer for system of a down. hes also the singer for vokee.
I remember this and was introduced to this thanks to the streetwise DVD. Many awesome nights in my room with friends last year of HS listening to this.
who would think former soad drummer khachaturian and former soil(who turned into soad) drummer hakopyan would make a band then system would go famous and leave them in the dust
I was trying to remember who the hell this band was for days. First time I heard them was live at Ozzfest! Glad I found them finally so I can get this damn song out of my head. :)
This has been one of my favorites since I was about 14 years old. I was hellbent on getting that sound and the taps down for the guitar melody. By the time I managed that, I had already picked up Topsy Turvy. Great stuff. By the way, I know why the comparisons exist, but wouldn't you enjoy the music a lot more if you didn't have someone make it a point to mention SOAD every couple minutes?
@ponzii1 So... when did they start competing?? Dude, they're two different bands wih very different styles, the only likeness is their cultural background, give'em a chance.
Plus, SOAD is simply the best alternative rock/metal band in the world, period, all other bands are mere amateurs when compared to them! lol!
Too bad the lead singer couldnt stow his ego. These guys were heading for the top. Hang in there Art. I'm still a fan for sure.

Search "Mt. Helium." Same guitar player, drummer, and bassist. The guitar player sings now and they sound more prog/rock. They're really dope.
