I had the same feeling, Brannigan 1986!! Why Peter Laird had to sold the franchise that he and Kevin Eastman created to Nickelodeon.? It's like biting the hand of whom that feed you. Those guys became millionaires because of our beloved turtles boys, but they say they will continue publish the comics, but the future of Mirage is uncertain. I don't have any idea what Nickelodeon is going to do with the TMNT because they're the same company that made the disgusting "Spongebob Squarepants".

Thank you!! Nice video and song. But you forgot to include the Red Sky turtles from seasons 8 thru 10 from the original TV series. And the design that 2003 turtles had in Fast Forward and Back to the Sewers. TURTLE POWER!!

@Margui622 I didn't forget to include the "Red Sky" Turtles, as I felt that they were in the same continuity as the original 80's cartoon. Same goes for the "Fast Forward" and "Back to the Sewers", they are indeed accounted for as I feel that the pilot episode of the 2k3 series effectively represents the entire series.

@Margui622 Actually, I intended this to represent the end of an era, and close out the Peter Laird era of TMNT. Shortly after 2k3 series ended Peter Laird sold the franchise to Nickelodeon.  I was so moved and heartbroken by the announcement that I created this as an ode to the first 25 years of the franchise.

No problem I've been a TMNT fan since I brought my Leonardo action figure back in 1988.. This is one property that has endure from being a indie hit, to the biggest pop culture icons in the late 80s and 90s to now while they're not as big as they were in the 80s and 90s they're still relevant and popular.

And not too many things we grew up with in the 1980s can say that.
