Remember, the environmentalist wing of the Democrat's party has already criminalized full-flush toilets, efficient refrigerants, clearing of fire hazards from around homes, clearing of hazardous tree branches from around power lines, pressure treated lumber (rot & bug resistant), ... to name a few.

Then there's the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. The foam panel that disintegrated lacked a chemical compound because environmentalist had complained of it.

I would hate living in these loony lib states. My sister's friend in California lives on a ranch and rattlesnakes have killed their two cats. And she has little kids, but in California, she can't even buy snake repellent. She had to ask my sister to mail her some. And in Oregon with 20% unemployed, they can't even make jobs with new green power turbines because it might hurt birds. it's insane. 5*

The horrific part is that the government is so large and employs such a huge percentage of the population, that we're no longer voting such depraved socialists out of office, even as their ruthless algorithm becomes clear.

@TylerNull If people profit from thievery, they'll vote for more of it. So long of the criminal schemes of socialists are allowed to continue, the socialists will keep pressing for more schemes.Meanwhile, their nepotistic nomenklatura will continue to grow.

Although the well has run dry. So this kleptocracy cannot continue for much longer. Something very nasty will eventually happen, probably sooner rather than later, as the Left's balloon economy is forced to conform to hard reality.
