@TheOriginalRadlam if you go into MW2 calling stuff overpowered, then you're doing it wrong. There are more things "overpowered" than not in MW2, basically making a few of the guns simply underpowered, and if you're using those out of the pure goodness of your heart, get the fuck off MW2.
pro perks are just gay, keep it simple, hopefully there is a new gametype on mw3 called barebones S&D with no kill streaks, no attachments, no perks, no minimap, no equipment....just you, your gun, and your team...thumbs up the shit out of this

MW3 is going to be a mighty failure too. What makes you think that it can get any better, seeing that they only have about 8 months to complete the game and get it out by November. CoD4 and WaW were good because they had a lot of time to create the games, then they got rushed and have to put new content into the game in months, rather than years. Battlefield 3 is going to blow MW3 out of the water.
EVERY GAME has its ups and downs, but people need to start loving games for what they are. I personally found myself playing MW2 waaaaay more than Black ops when I first got them, but that doesn't mean that I HATED BLACK OPS. Just like how BTKMedia felt, Black Ops it did not feel like a C.O.D game and ended up not playing it a lot. And trust me, MANY of my friends went back to MW2. And once MW3 is close to release, EVERYONE will bash Black Ops.

Sure, Black Ops Multiplayer is great and the story is twisty and shocking, but MW2 just had such a unique story-line that dragged you in and made you feel a part of the game. I'm sure we can all agree we were ready to kick Shepherd's ass once he killed Ghost and Roach.

@TheDesipoo Personally, at this point, I've lost all faith in call of duty. All that IW and treyarch have shown me is that they are incapable of making a game that runs well on anything but the Xbox. I'll be passing up MW3 later this year for Battlefield 3 on the PC.

black ops is so connection dependent... i once had a week where my internet was working a little slower than normal, and i had a one bar in black ops. i went back to mw2 and had a 3 bar. also, when i have three bars in black ops, it feels like a 1 bar in mw2. one thing iw done right for mw2 is make a game with decent connection and gun variety.
You know what, I'm gonna be the one to admit it. Modern Warfare 2 was fun. It had it's flaws but every game does. It wasn't the developers fault that Danger Close became what it was. It wasn't meant to be used like it is. Same for OMA, the only part Infinity Ward messed up with is Commando. People hate on the game all the time yet they still play it. Black Ops may be some what "Balanced" but it's missing that Infinity Ward feel....
MW2 had its flaws, but when you come to think about it, we all had such great memories playing this game, i played it all the way through the year and it got frustrating at times but Black Ops i got instantly turned off the first month of it, by the way trout that syncing at the end of this montage made me jizzle a little bit

@StannerzV2 On XBOX. MW2 has nowere near to as many hackers as PS3 because the activation of a J-Tag sends an error message to microsoft that a device not created by their company had been used on the system and it's system banned within a couple hours

I started choking up at 0:33 when the music was playing, just because of such good times and memories on this game. It makes me sad that those days are gone now.

@rymcmanus Dude, the main problem I detect, was adding that huge COD POINT system. Now, I don't have to do headshots. Just play a normal game using any weapon, then unlocking the camo for it. Every other COD I've played lasted me at least half a year, Black Ops lasted about 2 weeks for me. Leveling up was so easy, I've seen people make 4th prestige in 2-3 weeks. It's kind of sad to say this, I liked campers. They were pretty easy to kill in my opinion if you were good.Quickscopin added challenge
@Wasabi8535 boosters vs. some small sense of achievement from unlocking camos, take your pick. and there are plenty of ways to challenge yourself in black ops (probably more than in mw2 given the new tactical grenades, equipment, special secondary weapons), but no one seems interested in doing it. so i don't think the appeal of quickscoping was challenge.
@rymcmanus I don't know if you knew this, but there are STILL boosters in Black Ops. Ask around, you'll see that most people already say that Black Ops is boring.

@rymcmanus Ok, I'll give it to you because all I can say, is that it's missing, "the feel". Have you yet played every Call of Duty? If your watching the video, your probably subscribed to Trout. If you are, you probably are subcribed to alot of famous gameplayers. Watch them, you'll se in at least one video them saying this game is getting tiring, or boring. Woody, Trout, Smoove, Sam, ect.
@Wasabi8535 I've played COD4, MW2, and BO, and in my experience people have told me similar negative things about W@W, so some of it might just be aesthetic and how Treyarch does things differently from IW. COD4 was big, but so many young players and even some commentators began with MW2, and in terms of actual gameplay, I find BO to be closer to COD4 than MW2, and I guess the people who have only played MW2 might not like that. I do think we shouldn't just listen to whatever commentators say.
@Wasabi8535 Most of the ones that criticize Black Ops are the ones that are just used to getting high scores from camping with stacking killstreaks in MW2. Some of it might also be general burnout on their part (as with Hutch), and not really anything about the game itself. I think if you look at the ones that focus on team strategy and objective play (like Woody), they like Black Ops. And most importantly, people will always find something to complain about, but for me there's less than in MW2.

This game had flaws, but black ops has flaws, yet even now, couple of months after bops released, ppl are back on mw2 and cod4, I really cannot see people playing black ops once mw3 comes out because even if it is fail, i still think people will play mw2 and cod4, i dont see black ops as a call of duty, Some of you may understand what i mean when i say call of duty has a certain "feel", like cod2, cod4, WaW and MW2. Both cod3 and black ops lack this special feel in my opinion.

@BTKMedia that's a stupid argument. that's like me saying bush was imperfect, and obama is imperfect too, but i just don't like the "feel" of the obama presidency... that's just a different way of saying i'm prejudiced against obama. if you can't get reasons other than the "feel" (what the hell is that anyway?), chances are you're just missing the cheap stacking killstreaks that let anybody get a nuke or you're just a fanboy following what all the commentators say.

@rymcmanus Dude, the main problem I detect, was adding that huge COD POINT system. Now, I don't have to do headshots. Just play a normal game using any weapon, then unlocking the camo for it. Every other COD I've played lasted me at least half a year, Black Ops lasted about 2 weeks for me. Leveling up was so easy, I've seen people make 4th prestige in 2-3 weeks. It's kind of sad to say this, I liked campers. They were pretty easy to kill in my opinion if you were good.Quickscopin added challenge

@Wasabi8535 boosters vs. some small sense of achievement from unlocking camos, take your pick. and there are plenty of ways to challenge yourself in black ops (probably more than in mw2 given the new tactical grenades, equipment, special secondary weapons), but no one seems interested in doing it. so i don't think the appeal of quickscoping was challenge.

@rymcmanus I don't know if you knew this, but there are STILL boosters in Black Ops. Ask around, you'll see that most people already say that Black Ops is boring.

@Wasabi8535 I haven't ever encountered boosters on Black Ops. Not once. And I'm no doubting that a lot of people agree with you, but I'm saying that I won't take their opinion seriously regardless unless they can provide reasons why it's "boring" or it "doesn't feel right".

@rymcmanus Ok, I'll give it to you because all I can say, is that it's missing, "the feel". Have you yet played every Call of Duty? If your watching the video, your probably subscribed to Trout. If you are, you probably are subcribed to alot of famous gameplayers. Watch them, you'll se in at least one video them saying this game is getting tiring, or boring. Woody, Trout, Smoove, Sam, ect.

@Wasabi8535 I've played COD4, MW2, and BO, and in my experience people have told me similar negative things about W@W, so some of it might just be aesthetic and how Treyarch does things differently from IW. COD4 was big, but so many young players and even some commentators began with MW2, and in terms of actual gameplay, I find BO to be closer to COD4 than MW2, and I guess the people who have only played MW2 might not like that. I do think we shouldn't just listen to whatever commentators say.

@Wasabi8535 Most of the ones that criticize Black Ops are the ones that are just used to getting high scores from camping with stacking killstreaks in MW2. Some of it might also be general burnout on their part (as with Hutch), and not really anything about the game itself. I think if you look at the ones that focus on team strategy and objective play (like Woody), they like Black Ops. And most importantly, people will always find something to complain about, but for me there's less than in MW2.

@Youngrunner17 nope waw had flaws, same as every cod has, but my opinion is that black ops isnt what i see as a "call of duty" game. And clearly 46 people atleast agree with me. Blackops is a try hards game, and therefore it isnt fun, it has not pleasureable aspects, the maps are badly designed, the graphics have gone backwards, the hosting is worse than mw2 and despite all the time treyarch had to take out the biggest flaws like tubes, they didnt. Again, all my opinion, but ppl seem to agree.
