i hate the sacking animations cuz almost every time instead of tackling the QB head on, the defender always grabs him and throws him on the floor....a regular tackle would be great seriously
another big thing is the halftime report...you have the ESPN license. USE IT! it would add so much to the presentation and realism of the game if you took it to the studio at halftime. have a few ESPN analysts talk about the game so far, and review highlights from your game, and even other games going on at the same time.

2:39 the AI needs a little improvement. he had a huge lane that he could have easily gotten 6-7 yards on, but he waited in the pocket. not a big deal with that though, as obviously QB's don't run often.
Overall, it looks great though. presentation is awesome, just needs commentating

I see EA has decided NOT to fix the running style, much less the ridiculous ball carrying style. Sorry but I haven't seen a SINGLE player hold the ball out in front of them with one hand and run, it's ran between their forearm and their shoulder pads. The running style...eh, sort of looks like the runners are jogging with the ball and not pumping their arms that hard. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great game, but they've done the same thing for the past two titles for ball carrying/running
...EA needs to work on the O-line....when it is a pass play, the O-line is not assigned a person to block. they are assigned a gap. On 4:19 the O-line gets all screwy because the center chases after the DT for a second. I love the battles between the Offensive Tackles and the DE's though. nice job
were the mocap guys just going through the motions of the running animation? ok EA try this. Sick some attack dogs on them and hav them run. i think the cuts, sprinting and jukes will look very real then.

Wow it seems like EA did a good job of listening to the fans, unfortunately they didn't go as far with things as people would have liked. The extra point halftime show is no better than the boring crap we've seen before when it was just a picture of madden and a selection of replays.. Seriously boring. The look is a lot more polished. The voiceovers are all the same.. Regardless, I still plan on getting it

Lets have helmets fly off if the players get hit really hard to the head. You got all the players helmets off at the sideline so why dont you have there helmets come off if they get hit hard, not everytime, just a random thing. Come on EA you said that what you see on sundays is what you see in the game, well you see helmets come off all the time every game
4) In depth play analysis as in 2k5 when they used to display the running yards on the field with yellow arrows and displayed the QB passing yards / accuracy stats to different zones in the field during the game
I dont think adding these key presentation features would be too much to ask for from EA. These added features will make this game as close to a REAL football experience than Madden has ever provided.
3) Cut scenes to the sidelines during the game of the players should be of the players that ACTUALLY made the big play or scored the TD previously - NOT the freakin kicker bcus he chipped in the PAT everytime. Show the players demonstrating their TD run or awesome catch like they showed in 2k5
Can ANYONE PLEASE tell me WHYYY in the world would they show a cut scene of the KICKER getting pats on the back and high 5's on the sideline after each TD and NOT the player who actually scored - even when it's a big play and the player scores on a return INT or after a huge run - all they can do is focus on the effin kickerrrr who kicks a chip shot PAT??? WTF?!? I hope to GOD EA notices that and makes the proper changes by launch time!
I agree 100% with Freddyfro. Everything he said they need to add, because to me 2k5 was the funnest football game I played and if i still had my ps2 i would still play it. Thats because they didnt just care about the graphics they had highlights like after every week and at halftime and after the game that game was just fun. It seems like Madden 10 is taking a little of the stuff from 2k5 but please do what freddy fro said.

were the mocap guys just going through the motions of the running animation? ok EA try this. Sick some attack dogs on them and hav them run. i think the cuts, sprinting and jukes will look very real then.

Wow it seems like EA did a good job of listening to the fans, unfortunately they didn't go as far with things as people would have liked. The extra point halftime show is no better than the boring crap we've seen before when it was just a picture of madden and a selection of replays.. Seriously boring. The look is a lot more polished. The voiceovers are all the same.. Regardless, I still plan on getting it

Lets have helmets fly off if the players get hit really hard to the head. You got all the players helmets off at the sideline so why dont you have there helmets come off if they get hit hard, not everytime, just a random thing. Come on EA you said that what you see on sundays is what you see in the game, well you see helmets come off all the time every game

4) In depth play analysis as in 2k5 when they used to display the running yards on the field with yellow arrows and displayed the QB passing yards / accuracy stats to different zones in the field during the game
I dont think adding these key presentation features would be too much to ask for from EA. These added features will make this game as close to a REAL football experience than Madden has ever provided.

2) TV Style commentary during halftime and post game highlights just Chris Berman did on 2k5 - that was pretty sweet.
3) Post game interviews on the sideline with the Player of the Game. (2k5 did it)

Here are some of the things I'd like to see EA add to the final build of this game before it launches on Aug. 14:
1) Better running animations. Players still move "robotic". They should have the players run / move as they did in Madden '06 on PS2 or in 2k5...

3) Cut scenes to the sidelines during the game of the players should be of the players that ACTUALLY made the big play or scored the TD previously - NOT the freakin kicker bcus he chipped in the PAT everytime. Show the players demonstrating their TD run or awesome catch like they showed in 2k5

Can ANYONE PLEASE tell me WHYYY in the world would they show a cut scene of the KICKER getting pats on the back and high 5's on the sideline after each TD and NOT the player who actually scored - even when it's a big play and the player scores on a return INT or after a huge run - all they can do is focus on the effin kickerrrr who kicks a chip shot PAT??? WTF?!? I hope to GOD EA notices that and makes the proper changes by launch time!

I agree 100% with Freddyfro. Everything he said they need to add, because to me 2k5 was the funnest football game I played and if i still had my ps2 i would still play it. Thats because they didnt just care about the graphics they had highlights like after every week and at halftime and after the game that game was just fun. It seems like Madden 10 is taking a little of the stuff from 2k5 but please do what freddy fro said.

EA SPORTS need to fix the halftime report. You should not have to read the highlights on a next gen system. They need to have COMMENTARY with the halftime highlights. DON'T BE LAZY EA !!

like for home field advantage away qb's with low awareness walk up wide eyed and timid.

Two things I don't like, that haven't been mentioned.
1.) Kickoffs ending up pretty far into the endzone, with a 3mph wind no less.
2.) QBs rarely stepping into throws, there is no animation for it occurring for it a majority of the time.
