@TheMuahhaha not my fault, just when you download/install the game take note of where it is, or search guitar hero or DATA in the search bar when you're in my computer. If it isn't there anywhere.. it isn't there.

@Vengenceband You can't put custom songs on the console version of guitar hero(s) unless you buy them from the Xbox marketplace. There's no operating system that you'll be able to do it on..

This tutorial isn't much different to Bloodlitz's so problems may well be your fault. When it says game content is damaged it just means not the normal stuff is there, just CANCEL. Also ingame goto cheats, press and strum green twice to get everything unlocked

ok. i tried testing this out and i dont think it worked. does the new song replace stuff like slow ride? or is it stored somewhere else? and i want to kno if you kno how to get a black background. much appriciated if answered. ^^ ty.

@EmoTimmay no it doesn't replace slow ride if you do it right. If you select the bonus songs tier it is in the bonus song tier, if you put the songs per tier up by 1 it makes room for that 1 more song you're adding. when you choose the song number as the highest number on the list that is choosing the 1 you just added.

So originall it may be 15, then you change songs per tier to 16, and so that 16th song is the slot for your new song, that is why you choose the highest number - 16 for example.

@KMinferno when you started it up please tell me you didn't click delete for the message that comes up about the song files etc....

If you clicked delete you deleted all your songs, if it's something else i don't know, if it's messed up reinstall

Am I supposed to put the Guitar Hero 3 disk in my computer?... or how is it that you get the guitar hero Data folder???? BTW, love the Dragon Ball Z Background!

@emotionalkid92801 You don't have to do anything radical. To find the DATA folder go to Computer - OS (C:) (That's if you have Vista/Win7) and then find the folder Program files - Aspyr (or whatever GH3 is made by) and then GHIII will be in the folder - open that folder and you'll find the DATA folder and everything.

When you want to play, just insert the disk (or mount the virtual disk if it is an ISO - that's from a download :P) And run the game with the shortcut or whatever.
