  • We Guitarists have people that set this stuff up for us

  • This guy is making me more and more dumb. I hope no uninformed new comer sees these videos and actually references them for their band equipment.

  • ok...

  • Any dumbass with common sense can change power tubes. And a few dumbasses with just a little tiny bit of know how can bias them.

  • ,,wiggle it gently until it comes out" well balls to you my good sir XD naaaaa I keed

  • this guy sounds like my doctor. dont forget your monthly tube check, sir.

  • NEVER TOUCH THE TUBES WITH YOUR BARE HANDS, THE OILS WILL HEAT UP AND MAKE IT BURN OUT.

think of it as a raindrop on a lightbulb.

    for shame.

  • vacuum tubes, not power tubes

  • guy is an idiot, he shouldnt be telling people how to change tubes if he is handling them with bare hands and doing it wrong himself. Guessing he's pretty good at changing them as everytime he puts a new tube in, it probably blows up in the first few min.

  • Dont touch them with your hands ! skin oil ruins them

  • @Thejollyguitarist GOOD CALL,I was going to ask about that...

  • If you use an amp and don't know how to change tubes in it... Well... :)

  • If this guy is setting up the band equip. why is he fucking with tubes!?

  • lol

  • okay?

  • How about you unplug the amp first!? DERRRR!

  • i need to replace my tube retainers...which means i have to take my tubes out. if i take them out, and put them all in the exact same spot, will i have to rebias my amp?

  • @RobbieHassett Good question,if you find out let me know,I came to this vid hoping to find out about my amp and it was a total waist of time.

  • Its amazing how many tech sdont mention unplugging the amp from the wall grrrr@

  • you guys shouldn''t use your hand to get the tube out without cloth you will shorten the tube life:)

  • okej dude

  • They way you take the tubes out is a great way to break them of the base. Specially if they're old tubes. You got to pull them out by the base.

  • wath is the blue thing in the amp
