Murder is the unlawful taking of the life Exodus 20:13 That was one of the commandments"thou shall not murder". But you are probably referring to the book of Exodus when God smited the first born. God allowed the first-born to be killed as a judgment upon Pharaoh as a proof of God's superiority and as a prophetic representation of the death of His Son, Jesus.

@TasteOfVengeance5 Jesus never spoke of hate. The love he showed was the opposite from hate entirely. He was the son of God and didn't deserve that death we condemned him to. He died the death we deceived for our sins so we could be saved. He gave us all hope even to this day! That kind of love never goes away. Murder is the unlawful taking of the life Exodus 20:13 That was one of the commandments"thou shall not murder". But you are probably referring to the book of Exodus when God smited the first born. God allowed the first-born to be killed as a judgment upon Pharaoh as a proof of God's superiority and as a prophetic representation of the death of His Son, Jesus.
