One of my favorite Pretenders songs. Unfortunately, it's fairly obscure and seldom played outside of the movie. The song's story doesn't seem that closely matched to the movie. I wish Chrissie would release this on an album. By the way: great pictures, too

@7071t6 I know exactly how you feel. When your life is threatened or some catastrophe happens to you, suddenly you feel completely separated from the petty concerns of normal life and therefore from most of the people around you. You live in a different universe. I've been there, in the military and in civilian life. I very much hope you get through the nightmare you are living through and emerge on the other side and slowly fall back into those small concerns that mean life is normal again.
@PennPearson Guess what my Partner of 30 years has left me NOW, She was having a Affair while i started CHEMO & While i was Having Chemo Treatment, worse is that she, has left Our Son, who has close to 10 friends who have Died in the last 3 years, so NOW i have to Deal with Helping MY SON and GET Myself Back on my feet, as far a CANCER is Concerned and my Partner Cheating that is UNFORGIVABLE, I Told her SHE IS DEAD in my HEART & re: I dont want to see her ever again.
