someone ask in facebook what sing better axl or izzy and I answered this:

axl was better than izzy... izzy hasn't a great voice but I love his voice and now the voice of axl is a bullshit by that izzy now sing better because he keep the same voice and axl no.. izzy knows use his voice ( not great) and axl doesn't know use his damaged voice.. he sing very out of tune and cannot handle his voice on conclusion izzy win.

Ya ,you got that right ,I remember when he left ,I knew GN'R would never be the same again for sure. His solo records are really great ,I love them. It was very cool that he did come back and play a few gigs with newgn'r last year.

Izzy was by far the best member of GN'R he is a great guitarist/songwriter and i think he was underestimated in GN'R because he wasnt as outspoken as Axl and no one really noticed him....(well 'cept for a some people who did!)

Even though Slash is the best lead guitarist on history, I have to say, he overshadowed izzy in gnr. Not with purpose, i guess. But izzy were kind of always in the back on the stage.

Yeah, i mean you can here him saying "where do we go now?" a few times on Sweet child, but thats all really on Appetite For Destruction. Duff is an ok singer too.

Izzy left also because he felt his opinions of the band and its direction, and possible direction(s), were constantly being ignored. I like Izzy, his voice and his playing, esp on WTTJ. I've had limited exposure to the JuJu Hounds material, but I like what I have heard. Plus, I like the fact that he hasn't held a grudge against any of them, having played (at least once)with both Axl (and new GNR line-up ... well, at least one of them anyway, maybe more), and Slash/Duff/Old VR.
