You only have to keep practicing to drift well. I just went back online just now to play this game on my PSP, once in a while I enjoy racing in it again. The handling is much better on the PS3 but I found that after a long time I could drift without a worry in the world.

hey guys im pretty sure the offers are still available, try this: scroll all the way to the right on the psp home page and go to "Account Management", it's above PSN icon. then go to Transaction Management. then go all the way down to Services List. it should be there, it'll be a picture of PSN or something. this is how I got it, I couldn't download the games in time, but this is like a "backdoor" I guess

2 reasons that I don't always prefer this game. 1. The creation is REALLY dulled-down, and that sucks. 2. The karts and mods can be glitchy, especially on user created tracks (example: i randomly fall through the ground or get stuck in a wall on my own tracks...).

I think the dude who made this review is a nintendo fan, OK MNR racers is not perfect, but I downloaded for free and I like the online, and overall its a good game, I design a bunch of stuff and its more fun than throwing banana peels and gay blue shrooms, you cant customize freely in mario kart, not even on 3ds ( just some mods on the karts and the "mii" sucks ball), MNR FTW nuff said....

Not even including Mario Kart, the PSP version is just 'eh' as an actual kart racing game overall, mainly due to notable lack of gameplay refinements. It's not bad, but I wouldn't of got it either if Welcome Back never happened.

By the look of it, the new one for Vita is more or less the PS3 version, so I honestly can't wait for that one. And I'm enjoying the PS3 version more then any other kart racer.

I'm not a fan of many PS3 games being directly ported to the PSP. This is one of them I have to say. LBP and MSAE is different, but I hate the racing in this. Nowhere near as good as the PS3. On top of that, I thought the game was a bit bland. Unfortunately, I got this on UMD for €19.99. Too bad...

How to SideSwipe and About Rivals

Get the boostmeter over the first white lin then get near a car(by the way all the opponents are you rivals incase

you didn't know)and press up on the D-pad and you will sideswipe the opponent

To see who is your eliterival press up on the D-pad while in the the race and a car with a skull or X back on

his/her car is your Eliterival and all the other cars are Just you rivals/opponents

@dkmariolink don't worry you can still get your game, just go to account management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotion and in there you will see you welcome back offers, which ever one you messed up with just press it if in the bottom where it says remaining it has the number 1 then all you gotta do is choose the game you want and there you go :) all the rest will say 0 cause those are the ones u got the games for already :)

@Mainsail1975au Oh my god, get Modnation Racers. Pursuit Force has a much, much better sequel and the game itself is cheap on UMD anyways, and Modnation Racers is easily the best kart racing game I've played besides Mario Kart; in many ways, it's way better.

My only issue with it is that the drifting really is a bit frustrating and I can't get sideswipes right, beyond that the game's about as good as kart racing gets. The PS3 version is apparently much better, but the PSP version still rocks.
