omg i really was about to go thru all 80 tracks 4 this song. cuz i was watching the part when ezio learns how to use the hookblade and i fell in love in this song!
I cant describe how amazing and epic is the Assassin´s Creed saga for me,it changed my life some people may thing its stupid becauuse its a game but when you identify so much with something and you really get deep into it,it leaves you with no words at all! this soundtrack is one of my favorites! along with Home In Florence from Assassin´s Creeed II they are just amazing and this song from the minute 1:46 its a piece of art.
The music plays a big role (the biggest for me) in making a game memorable. Revelations had the best soundtrack and storytelling of the whole series. I love it like no other AC game.
when i'm walking in the streets of istanbul with Ezio and this music in the background... i feel like i am in home. I rarely feel that with videogames, because that's how i know that is a great videogame :)
I think it's amazing that even after listen to this probably over 50 times, it still gives me goosebumps and makes me feel as happy as the first time...
It seems that since AC2,most songs are conjoined by one thing: the presence of a sweet, delicate female voice. It is present in this one, too. Almost feels like it's strictly bonded to Ezio's adventures and life..it is featured in Ezio's Family,Wetlands escape,Flight over Venice,Echoes of the Roman ruins, and many others. I don't think it was made on purpose,of course..but thinking about it just got me chills running down my spine. All hail to the best series ever. Requiescat in pace,Ezio Auditore.
I went from track 1 all the way until here just to find this song. its beautiful, when you're roaming around the amazing city. taking in everything. the life of an assassin. i would say more don't want wanna spoil. time to move on to the next track. :)
I don't get why people love only half of the music. I personally love the whole song as a whole! But if you want a personal opinion on where I like it the most, it's gotta be the beginning all the way to 1:32.
For those people who want to play every thing this game has to offer. Stop at sequence 8. U unlock every thing from there. Plus u can hear these amazing tunes and there actually more ottomans then Janissary.
@kimonap i agree something about venice made it the best. as much as i love brotherhood i didnt like rome that much, constantinople is great just not as much as venice
@kimonap I think it depends on opinions. I think I felt more immersed into the culture in Constantinople. Rome and Constantinople had a better skyline and cloud effect. AC2 had a lot of colors, but it was missing a good skyline and the lighting was always somewhat bright. I think Florence, Forli, Monteriggioni, and Tuscany, had the best shadings and colors. I felt that Venice was a bit too clean and bright, but the water makes it beautiful.
I want something new. I hate to say it but I want to leave Italy and that time period for good. Ubisoft needs to give us a new playground for this last game.
@call4deadproductions Heh, so Ubisoft polling people on who they wanted the next assassin to be (note: Desmond was not listed) was just to get everyone's hopes up, huh?
@Spectre1545 they actually have, the whole point of the desmond journey missions on revelations is to tell you about the past... but i agree, it is a bit to early for moving on to desmond for modern combat..
@call4deadproductions I doubt it will 100% Desmond. I don't think ubisoft will ditch the whole animus concept and an AC game without a historic setting would not feel like AC. There will probably be a final ancestor and a lot more of Desmond.
I've been looking for this song to the four corners of the world... now it makes me cry. I know I keep saying this, but I miss Yusuf. I become friends with the characters as I play, and Yusuf became like an awesome uncle or something...
Ezio had better have put "Requiescat in pace, Yusuf Tazim da Istanbul" on Yusuf's grave or I'll be mad!
@CarapuceShiney it's an error in the game, but you can go to the forums and look at my thread if you want to learn how to put music back in the game an how to choose a certain music to listen to(Limited amount VERY).
I cried so much when i found Yusuf dead. And in the next moment i was soo freakin mad that i threw my arms in the air when Ezio said, that the templars would pay for it
@MerisaChanify I cried too! It was certainly heartbreaking....but you just pissed quite a few people off who haven't played/finished it yet, haha. Just sayin'.
How do you know you've played a game series enough to become emotionally invested in it: Yesterday I replayed sequence 2 and after the meet and greet and the Hookblade lessons from Yusuf I just ran around the rooftops and climbed tall buildings and looked around at the city beneath me and I actually found myself missing Yusuf. Especially when the vocalization kicks in at 1:45
Thank you Assassin's Creed team and of course Jesper Kyd for this immersive masterpiece :)
Is there some way to tell who composed what tracks (besides just looking below the like bar) I mean some tracks I can tell right off the bat "that's Jesper Kyd" but then I listen to You Have Earned Your Rest and see that that track was by Lorne when I could've sworn it was Jesper
I still need more time to memorize my way through the city of Constantinople! I know my way everywhere in all the places in AC1, AC2, and ACB already in all cities!
This melody is so suiting for Kostantiniyye, i love to listen to it while walking through the city's rooftops, with all those towers on the background, and all those vibrant colors, it feels really nice, everytime i listen to it feels like i'm actually there, kinda sad and touching, just beautiful :)
