  • Can anyone please help me, when I select or click on certain clip from the one I imported, the select tool keep selecting the whole clip. I just want a certain clip not the whole clip, I know I can just drag both ends of the select tool but that takes forever and it really makes editing complicated. Please help me

  • @eriffic When selecting the clip, push b and use the blade tool. That will make it so you can go to where you want the clip to start and where you want it to end the drag that into the time line.

  • @TheFunnynewz Thats way harder, I'm talking about the clips that had been imported. You skim and search for the clip you like and it will give you like at least seconds of selection of what part you want to chose then you import it at the timeline. My final cut pro 10.0.03 when I look at the imported clips and select the par that I want it selects the whole clip, I just want the clip the I want.

  • hey i was watching this video and noticed your awesome intro, could you make a tutorial on those?

  • how do you make one of those really cool intro title videos? program? or template

  • nice thing for the future... speak up! It has REALLY hard to hear what you were saying...

  • Thanks, I just got the 30 day free trial of it. Since I got my MacBook in March 2010 the best editing I did was through iMovie, so that's probably why I love Final Cut Pro X so much.

  • How do you split audio clips?

  • :)

  • SHIT

  • In final cut pro 7 i press Ctrl+v and it splits the clip. What do I press In FCX, I don't want to have to snap all the time?

  • @eyeangle command B

  • can you put it back together?

  • thanks for these fantastic videos man

  • major mumbling again......

Probably would be great...if we could actually hear you. hmmmm

  • Enunciate, move the mouse a little more decisively, remove audio noise and present the same material and you will have a great product!

  • when i try to use the blade tool on a green strictly audio clip the 2nd half that was split is red and i cant hear any audio. please help.

  • Great tutorials You should improve your audio. Some are okay and others like this one you have a lot of noise on it.

  • Thanks for making these tutorials. They were helpful.

  • Cant understand a word you are saying... you press WHAT to split?

  • Thanks Dan! I just watched all your tutorials, very helpful, thank you! Do you know how to copy layers of effects/filters to multiple clips? Also, do you know how to turn off volume to clips in timeline in bulk, i hate having to do all this one by one :( thanks!

  • Love these tuts.. but the audio quality is making some of em REALLY hard to get through... any chance of tweaking that?

  • @batu2260 ok so how can you be a beginner if you have been using imovie and are ready to "move up" ? Those who don't embrace FCPX will be left behind. :/

  • @batu2260 FCPX is a great foundation, it all depends on where apple take it...

  • @ about 3:15, audio drops out (including background hiss)

  • I think your wireless headset batteries are dying? Great tutorials!

  • hello, your audio seems messed up on this one, perhaps you have surround sound selected instead of stereo. I enjoy your tutorials.
