I've found rather than focusing on my finger to de-focus as you suggest I simply remove my glasses. : )

WWOOOOOOOAH!!!!! I still didn't believe you about colours A and B so I had to do a screen grab and use the color picker tool. I still don't believe it. B looks WAY more vibrant! Brilliant lesson. You've got yourself a new subscriber.
